Welcome to Timberline Terrace, a stylish Mt. Baker retreat designed for families and friends who want time together without feeling crowded.



This private property offers a rare and flexible two suite layout, pairing a spacious two bedroom upper level with a separate queen studio below. Guests reserve the entire property, and it is never shared with another group.



Spend your evenings soaking beneath the trees in the private hot tub, challenging the family to ping pong or foosball in the game room, or settling onto the covered terrace beside the propane fire table. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two distinct living spaces, Timberline Terrace gives everyone room to relax in their own way.

The Upper Suite



Exterior stairs lead to the bright and spacious upper suite, where vaulted ceilings and large windows fill the main living area with natural light.



The open living and dining space offers a comfortable place to reconnect after a day in the mountains. Settle in by the fireplace, stream a favorite movie, prepare dinner in the full kitchen, or gather around the custom wood bar to plan tomorrow’s adventure.



The covered terrace extends the living space outdoors with comfortable seating and a propane fire table, creating an inviting place for morning coffee, evening conversations, and quiet moments beneath the trees.

The Lower Studio



The separate lower studio offers additional privacy for couples, grandparents, or guests who appreciate having their own space.

• One queen bed

• Private exterior entrance

• Three quarter bathroom

• Kitchenette

• Access to the attached game room and laundry area



Please note that there is no interior staircase connecting the upper suite and lower studio. Guests travel between the two spaces using the exterior entrances.



Game Room and Outdoor Living



The dedicated game room makes staying home part of the vacation. Start a family ping pong tournament, play a round of foosball, or let the kids enjoy their own space while the adults relax upstairs.



Outside, the private hot tub offers a welcome place to unwind after skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring the Mt. Baker area. The wooded corner lot and covered terrace create a peaceful setting for slow mornings and relaxed evenings.

Timberline Terrace is tucked into the forest near the small mountain town of Glacier, where local restaurants, coffee, and basic supplies are only a short drive away.



Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25 minutes from the home, making this an easy basecamp for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, and year round mountain adventures.



Family and Dog Friendly



Families are welcome, and a Pack ’n Play and highchair are available upon request.



We are also happy to welcome up to two dogs with the required pet fee. Please review the pet guidelines before booking so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.

The Neighborhood:

The Neighborhood



Timberline Terrace is located in Glacier Springs, a peaceful forest community near the small mountain town of Glacier, Washington.



Surrounded by towering evergreens, wooded roads and mountain creeks, the neighborhood feels quiet and tucked away while keeping guests close to the area’s most popular adventures. The town of Glacier is approximately one mile away, with local restaurants, coffee, bars and basic supplies nearby.



Mt. Baker Ski Area is about 25 minutes from the home. Hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, river activities, waterfalls and access to the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest are all within easy reach.



Glacier Springs is a residential mountain community, so guests are asked to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while being thoughtful of nearby neighbors.



Other Things to Note:

Two Separate Living Spaces



Guests reserve the entire property, and the home is not shared with another reservation.



The upper two bedroom suite and lower queen studio have separate exterior entrances. There is no interior staircase connecting the two levels.



Exterior stairs are required to access the upper suite.





Lower Studio and Game Room



The game room and laundry area are attached to the lower studio. Guests choosing who will sleep downstairs should keep this arrangement in mind.



The lower studio includes a queen bed, kitchenette and three quarter bathroom.





Air Conditioning



Air conditioning is located in the upper suite. The lower studio does not have a separate air conditioning system.



Glacier Springs Water



Glacier Springs currently has a community boil water advisory, but it does not apply to the water inside Timberline Terrace.



The home has a whole house UV water treatment system, and the household water is safe to drink.





WiFi and Cell Service



The home includes high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for remote work, streaming and staying connected. Guests will need to use their own subscriptions for streaming services.



This is still a rural mountain area, and internet service may occasionally be affected by storms, power outages, falling trees or regional service interruptions.



Cellular reception can be limited in Glacier and varies by carrier.





Dogs



Up to two dogs are welcome with the required pet fee. Cats and other animals are not permitted.



Please review the complete pet guidelines before booking and do not leave dogs unattended at the property.





Children



A Pack ’n Play and highchair are available upon request.



Because the upper suite and lower studio are connected only by exterior entrances, families should consider the sleeping arrangement carefully when traveling with younger children.





Mountain Living, Wildlife and Weather



This home is located in a rural forest environment where guests may encounter insects and wildlife, including mice, raccoons, deer, bears and other mountain animals.

Please keep food and garbage secured and never leave either outside.



Mountain weather can change quickly. Winter guests should arrive prepared for snow and ice, follow current road and pass conditions, and bring a properly equipped vehicle.





Groceries and Dining



Glacier offers several local restaurants, coffee shops and places to purchase basic supplies. Larger grocery stores are located farther west, so we recommend completing major grocery shopping before arriving in the Mt. Baker area.
