I booked a room for two nights when I arrived exhausted after a long travel and after roaming around the location tryig to fin the hotel, with a stupid face the receptionist simply says we don't have empty rooms. No apology no sorry nothing. Piece of advice DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.
We had two stays at hotel toronto and both were very good.
We were upgraded to the family room which was quite nice and the staff were very accomodating and friendly with any questions. The room itself was quite clean and the rooms service also quite great.
No complaints.
The locations is good and just off the main street in Pharganj but can be a little tricky to find at first.
Overall a great stay at a reasonable price, would come back here.
We stayed for few days at this location. The guys at front desk were very helpful. They guided us about few location and sightseeing in Delhi that we weren't aware of. The morning breakfast was good and rooms were tidy and neat.
This is the worst hotel ever. When we arrived there after a 30 hour journey they told us the hotel was full while we had paid in full in advanced.
Then they offered us another hotel without informing us that it woukd be for 1 night only. When I heard after the first night that we had to shift again and that to a horrible hotel I called hotels.com to refund the rest of our stay.
They promised to do so but after 2 weeks no trace of the money. This is sooo bad I cannot believe it. Now I have to chase hotels.com to get our money back, unbelievable.
Never ever stay at Toronto they are not to trust.
This was the worst stay I ever had, the management of the hotel was pathetic.
The ppl at reception were rude. They even charge 300 extra for may friend who came for visiting me for an hour.
The complimentary breakfast as also not up to mark.
I will definitely not recommended, just be cause of the behavior of management and false policies.
I booked a room in advance based on positive reviews I had seen online. The hotel was difficult for the airport taxi driver to locate. I informed the hotel about my booking 3 days ago and also requested info for a bus tour to Taj Mahal. When I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay. I said I would pay at the time of check out, to which the staff agreed. I was then told to follow a boy, but he took me outside. I asked whee we were going. He said to the other hotel because that one was full. He took me to the street to get an auto, for he said it is another 2-3 KMs away. I returned to the front desk and told that I'd like to cancel the reservation, to which he agreed. I went back to street, found an auto, put my luggage in and went to central Delhi to find another hotel, which I luckily did.
What I experienced at this hotel was absolutely ridiculous and I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. I arrived at about 7am to the lobby and had requested early check in weeks earlier. I spoke to reception and they said my room would be ready shortly, but after it started taking a while I said I would go sightseeing and come back later. Eventually, I returned to the hotel in the evening, exhausted after 24 hours of flying and a long day walking, getting used to Delhi, and sightseeing, to hear the news that my room was no longer available because a pregnant woman was staying there. This was interesting and sketchy because I had been told earlier that my room was available for me and just needed to be cleaned etc. Then the manager offered me an "upgraded" room in a nearby hotel, to which I had no choice but to relocate to, since they wouldn't budge on getting me a room at this one. Finally we arrive, and not only is the new room the exact same as what the other should have been (I.e. not an upgrade), but there was a disgusting, foul stench in the bathroom, which they knew about since they left the fans on, and no toilet paper. It is unbelievable that they gave me such a poor accommodation after all they put me through. Hotel staff, besides management, were polite, helpful and friendly. Pretty close to Connaught Place and New Delhi Station. AVOID at all costs.
My friend and I had a reservation and arrived at 1 30 am. The person checking us in was the owner. He decided that he was not going to give me a room at that hotel and that he was going to send me in a taxi (at our expense) to his other, newer property, wherever that was, I still don't know. He sent his bag boy with us to hail a cab/stand on the side of the road at 2 am. His bag boy wasn't going to come with us. 4 taxis go by and aren't willing to take us to this other place. At this point we were both very upset. The owner didn't even give me a receipt for the money that I had paid and when I tried to explain that we had a tour guide picking us up from his hotel that I had a reservation for that was due to arrive at 4 30 am the same day, he didn't care. At that point we got our money back.
Tldr: owner of hotel didn't honor reservation.

Good bugdet hotel with phantastic bed quality
This hotel at the edge of Paharganj is a good budget option, especially because the bed was the best I had in one month of Indian budget hotels. It is really outstanding!! The room could have been a cleaner, but everything else was ok. The location is not great. The hotel is difficult to find at the end of a side street, and the hotel name is not lit in the night.
Günstige Unterkunft, dafür schon ziemlich abgewohnt.
Aufgrund Nebenstraße Lärm doch irgendwie erträglich.
"Touristenaufschlag" für flughafenabholung und so, dafür zuverlässig.
Walked the streets of New Delhi (ND) for 14 hours, returned back to the room to find out there was no hot water. They attempted to fix the issue but couldn't; reception advised that they would move us to an alternate hotel 15-20 minutes further out of ND, but we had to leave in 5 hours so we kindly refused. I asked for a discount when the manager called asking to talk to me. He advised that all of ND was currently out of hot water (stop laughing those who are reading!) and that there was a problem with the river that supplied water to the city. I threw the phone back to the guy behind the desk and went back to my room. DO NOT STAY HERE, for the price was pathetic for what is actually on offer... the walls are literally dirty; stay a 10 minute walk to the south.
Had a nice stay at this hotel, extended by a day. Staff were amazing, tour to Agra had the safest driver we've seen in India so far. Also came to police station to translate when my phone was stolen on the street.
Please don't stay here. Go elsewhere if you can. I booked on hotels.com and I guess these people don't have a good coordination with Hotels.com/Expedia. I had to arrive in Delhi at 11pm but my flight got delayed and I ended up arriving at 12:30am. I don't speak much Hindi. By the time I got an Uber and reached here, it was close to 2am! It is in a small galli (or alley) in Paharganj. The staff were sleeping when I came. I had to wake them up. They opened the door and told me that they had overbooked all the rooms and I that I don't have a room now (even though guaranteed by hotels.com). The staff was nice and said they would take me to a "sister hotel" about a 10 min walk away from this one. It's 2am in the night and I was not prepared to walk for 10 min with my luggage in a new city where I don't speak the language. So, I just called up Hotels.com and booked myself on a nicer $100 per night hotel on Ashoka Road. This being India, despite booking on the internet, I guess it helps to call a day in advance and let them know when you are arriving and that you are arriving for sure! Don't risk it, stay at a better place.
Hotel services is very poor and hotel location is remote, to find exact location of hotel

Nice hotel
It was a very happy stay. Rooms were clean and comforting. However, the WiFi experience and the water heater were the areas that disappointed me a little. The staff was great. And the overall experience was a nice one. Three stars from my side too this hotel.
