"We loved driving through the cow pasture to get to the house - helped us slow down and relax! We were in town for a graduation, so siblings (and their young children) were all there. There were enough beds for us all, and the kitchen/dining area was cozy for us all. The younger kids enjoyed the yard, while parents could sit on the deck by the river. We had lots of events to attend over the weekend, so hadn't planned on using the house as a "river getaway", so I can't comment on the...

Two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are accessed by passing through another bedroom which is a little awkward depending on who you are staying with. "

Tucked into the woods, but surrounded by lots of open grass around the house with a fire pit and even room for a volleyball net or other activities. Great hot tub on the screened in patio, easy to get to, close to Front Royal, quiet property, lovely place to relax and super nice host! "
