Secluded Forest Cabin with Private Swim Spa & Sauna, Pet Friendly

  • Slow down in the woods at our log cabin in Del Rio, Tennessee. A private swim spa, sauna and fire pit make this a relaxing retreat for two, with space to enjoy the forest and quiet evenings outdoors. Pets are welcome under our pet policy.

    REST AND RELAX
    The main queen bedroom is downstairs, so you do not need to climb to the loft to reach the primary bed. The loft has a secondary futon. Please follow the guest limit shown in this listing when booking.

    Spend the day exploring, then return to your own swim spa and sauna. Enjoy the porch, listen to the woods and settle beside the fire pit. Massages may be available by advance arrangement when we are on-site; they are not guaranteed or included.

    A FOREST SETTING
    The cabin is tucked into the woods on a property shared with a separate tiny cabin, approximately 400 feet away. Each cabin has its own outdoor amenities. Guests may pass on the shared driveway, and screening varies with the season. If you are traveling with another couple, the tiny cabin can be booked separately, subject to availability and its own guest limit.

    EXPLORE THE AREA
    Use the cabin as a base for hiking, scenic drives and Pigeon River rafting. Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and Gatlinburg are options for day trips. Allow extra time for mountain roads and check current routes and attraction availability before setting out.

    PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL
    This is a rural mountain stay with a narrow, uphill gravel approach. Arriving in daylight is recommended; follow our written directions and reflective signs. Pick up groceries before arrival. Cellular reception is limited or unavailable at the cabin; Wi-Fi is provided, and compatible phones can use Wi-Fi calling. The cabin water is suitable for drinking.

Exactly what I was hoping for

The stay was great. We only stayed a weekend but wished we had more time. I was wanting to experience what it would be like to live in mountains and I got my experience 100% would highly recommend to anyone wanting the same experience

Beautiful View

Cabin was amazing, trails were a huge plus. My family had a wonderful time. If you are used to dogs the neighbors dogs are definitely not an issue and the fencing provides privacy. Hosts are very welcoming and communicative,we really felt right at home.

All around a great mountain getaway! Clean welcoming and a beautiful place. Only complaint is the neighbors dogs bark the entire time you are outside or move about the cabin if you have the main living room curtains open. They are relentless

Cozy cabin

This is a great cabin deep in Del Rio, you should have an all wheel drive vehicle to get there, you will need to stop at a grocery store before getting there because you are 40 minutes outside of Newport. I turned off the outdoor string lights to enjoy the stars at night.

Absolutely beautiful!!!!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. We were looking forward to time away from kids and our 4 dogs. This place did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in the door we saw the most thoughtful card and bottle of wine from Peggy and Sam. That speaks volumes to me. Their kindness and hospitality are unmatched. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. I would love to stay there again. I highly recommend to anyone that wants a peaceful place to stay. P.s. where did you get the furniture? I absolutely love the bed!!!!!

Perfect, quiet getaway in the Appalachian mountains. Large hot tub, fantastic sauna and lots of cozy spots to relax. Very clean and well kept space. Firewood available onsite. We had a great time during our stay and are looking forward to booking here again in the future!

This cabin is an absolute gem ! It’s clear the owners have put so much love into it and it really was a great way to relax for the first time since losing my dad . If they’ll have me I’ll certainly be back!
