"This is our 2nd stay at this property as we have celebrated New Years with friends two consecutive years. Everything was as good as the first time. No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. "This treehouse was awesome. It was very clean, adequately stocked, and in an absolutely perfect setting. In the woods with a nice fireput area and all by the river. The ladder to access the 2nd bed could only be reached by someone about 6' tall (no one in our group was that tall. We used our own blow up bed.) We couldn't use the loft. The water was turned off so couldn't use the outdoor shower. I would definitley add a small table and a couple of chairs for a place to sit and eat. We loved it."

It was very easy to find and its location is perfectly close to everything you want to go to yet still secluded enough to feel like a real getaway. The cabin is clean and spacious with just the right blend of Rusticity and modern convenience. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking. "Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future."

"Enjoyed a lovely stay with family for a weekend in mid-February. It was an ideal gathering space with top-notch amenities (i.e. Hot tub, Subzero fridge and a heated bathroom floor). Everything was SO CLEAN! Host was on vacation herself but very responsive to a few questions we had. Kids had a great time playing the games in the garage and using the tv and video games in the basement. The adults enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing cards at the dining room table. "Well maintained and clean cabin located off the road on a small peninsula. You wouldn't know you were on a county road. Perfect getaway weekend for my wife, 2 dogs and I. Small no motor lake. 2 small boats and a dock available. We didn't fish but there were plenty jumping. Outside fire pits were nice and convenient.
