"Whidbey Wonder on Whidbey Island exceeded every expectation!The location is unbeatable. Waking up to the water view from the balcony in the casita, plus ending the day by the fire pit was amazing. The outdoor living space was clearly designed for big groups. The fire pit area is perfect for roasting s’mores, and watching the sunset over the water.One of the standouts were the kayaks. Having direct access to the water made it so easy. We were able to paddle out in the mornings when the water was calm, explore the shoreline, and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Whidbey Island. The hot tub was another highlight. After a day of exploring, hiking, or kayaking, soaking in the private hot tub while overlooking the water was absolute perfection. It was clean, well-maintained, and positioned to take advantage of the views. This is exactly what you hope for when booking a Pacific Northwest waterfront rental.Last - The private casita truly sets this rental apart. The separate space provides privacy, making it ideal for extended family, in-laws, or another couple. The casita’s balcony was a favorite spot for morning coffee, It felt like having a boutique hotel suite tucked into the property."

"The house was perfect for our annual family Murder Mystery weekend in Langley. We’ve stayed in a variety of houses in the area over the last 20 years and this one was just as excellent as many of the others. We didn’t have the grandkids with us this year so we did not use the pool, but that was definitely something that they’re going to want to use in the future. Everything was perfect, clean, and well maintained. We really enjoyed being so close to the water and being able to watch the ferries and animals.We did have some trouble using Google maps for directions, and I had to change to Apple Maps to get to the correct place. Once we realize not to turn on Marshall Dr, we had no trouble getting back and forth from the home turning on Martin Dr."

"Everything was great. Check in was easy. The house was super clean and so cute! It was well stocked with everything we needed. It was fun to watch the ferry, but didn't have any problem with noise from it. We were supposed to have grandchildren stay with us, but they didn't make it until about 2 hours before we checked out due to delays with the ferry. The little time she was there my almost 3 year old granddaughter loved exploring the house."

"We stayed in this house for our annual family reunion. There were five older adults (55-61) and five young adults (21-24) in our group. The bedroom configuration worked well for our group. The olders had the rooms on the top two floors, and the youngers had the lowest floor. The lowest floor has its own living space and kitchen, which was nice for the young adults to hang out. One thing to mention- the loft on the top floor was fine for sleeping and sort of semi-private. The room with the twin beds on the bottom floor was not pictured in the home description. This room had two beds, huge tv, etc. There was a door to close off from others in that same level, but it was open to anyone on the second floor to look down into the room because of the high ceiling. So sort of a semi-private common space. Kitchen was great! Game room was fun! Could use some fixing up, but we enjoyed all the games. We really loved going out on the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards. Nice deck area to sit and enjoy the lake view. All in all a great time. "
