Great home, would for sure return!!!

We had a great stay in this lovely farm house. Was very well stocked with everything you would need including snacks and fire wood. Very cute and charming place that I would definitely return to. In walking distance to food and an amazing coffee shop with fresh backed goods.

The house is lovely and comfortable. Conveniently located on Deer Isle. There was a little glitch in check in but the owner was great in fixing it and went above and beyond to help us. The only downside was the house is right next to the road which is a "main" road in the area. Trucks are pretty loud early in the morning.

Great location and comfortable house

The house is in a great location for Deer Isle and Stonington. Mary was very responsive and left great instructions for the house. The house has AC and a screened in porch which was perfect to sit in at the end of the day and relax. We really enjoyed our stay! Had everything we needed.

Simple, quirky, rustic accommodation in a lovely part of Maine. Provision of coffee and snacks much appreciated, as was early check in. Unfortunately we found the bed uncomfortable and heating the place fully was tricky, so the second bathroom was too cold to use during our stay. Cooking a meal from scratch would be difficult due to limited supply of cooking utensils.

Girls time away

We wanted to hike and swim and have a nice landing place at the end of the day....great little house! Wonderfully appointed with many amenities. Clean, private and beautifully curated home! The on site bookshop was a wonderful surprise....I would definitely recommend!

Relaxing getaway

We loved this house. Even though there is WiFi and television like most places, this place is filled with an enormous, and eclectic book collection. We spent most of our time, when we weren't touring the island, on the screened in porch reading and enjoying the sunshine and beauty. It's a quiet retreat that had everything we needed and we even bought several books to bring home.

A Charming Deer Isle Oasis

I was blown away by this property and the property managers. Words don't do it justice. It's adorable, unique, clean, peaceful and there is something enjoyable for everyone of all ages. From the downstairs bookstore just casually available in the living room, the fireplace, to the field of flowers in the back, and the screened in porch, to the refurbished bathtub reading nook. It was a magical place on a magical island and the perfect stay!

Nice deck and grandson love the tub of pillows

We really enjoyed Deer Isle. The house was clean and comfortable and had what we needed. My grandson loved the tub that was full of pillows for sleeping in. Mary was over the top on making sure we were comfortable. She brought an air conditioner and put it in while we were there. The island had things us to do, but it wasn’t crowded

Mary's house makes simplicity feel luxurious. It is charming and has the conveniences that make a stay a vacation: location to Deer Isle, parking, laundry, screened-in side porch and outdoor deck on the property, a/c. The art, books, and quick communication are great pluses. This is the place i've been hoping to find!

A quick weekend getaway

I needed to have some time to unplug and think without the distractions of my home. I packed up my nine-year-old German Shepherd and off we went. The farmhouse was perfect, the instructions with check-in were spot on, and the house is idiotic.I had dinner at Fern and Finn and came back and settled into the house with my book and a glass of wine. Just what I needed.
