"Please don’t book at this Hotel at all,the appearance of the pictures online is not the same as when you arrived at the actual property. It is terrifying and deplorable, As I entered the front desk, you could see the paint is peeling off the walls and door, I then asked to see the rooms before I agreed to check in and was told no, she proceeded to called, I guess her manager and they argued for a bit, then decided to show me the rooms, the staff had such an attitude and insulting tone, I told her to calm down because I am not here to fight. She mentioned that her love one just passed and run to the bathroom to crying.. I told her that we were here from Florida for our cousins Funeral too, and that I am so sorry for her loss, while looking at the room, here comes a cockroach in the shower, I said to her,,come look at the Roches, and her response was, and I quote, what do you want me to do, “ pick up the roach with my fingers? in a very loud voice, I kept calm and said her, you don’t have to say that to me, I am just showing you the problem, I said to her that we won’t be able to stay here at all,But, she still had the audacity to ask me again if I will be checking- in, while the person was still on the phone,I just noticed, then she said my manager said she’s going to change us for the rooms anyway. The week after we came home to charges on my credit card for the stays. This is so frustrating and wrong, Days Inn needs to mentained & make repairs to this property. Not good!"
"Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my 60 years on this planet. No phones in the room. Room didn't get cleaned a single time in our 3 nights. Only one time were the towels replaced. The soap was never replaced and was an extremely small size so we went to the store and bought our own small bar. The breakfast was laughably horrendous. At best it was powdered eggs with cheese whiz. There was a $250 hold for incidentals. When I pushed on that and the no telephone I was told they were under new ownership and were making a lot of changes. I'm not sure why that would affect OUR visit. I absolutely will never return to this hotel. And we go to fish in Matagorda often."
