"The place is very run down. Garbage overflowing in receptacles outside and garbage littered the grass. The attendant was nice. But the room was just gross. Couldn't even relax or even sleep in there. The stench of cigarettes was down right nauseating. Our eyes and noses were stinging. Sheets and pillow cases were dirty with holes in them and makeup on the cases. Smelled really bad. Floor was dirty. TV wasn't even plugged in and they left half the lights on in there which felt odd. Everything was in poor condition. I have stayed in budget hotel/motels before but not this bad. "

"Overall, it was a great place to stay. One thing that bothered me was that during breakfast, the ham and eggs were placed in the same heated container. I do not eat meat but do eat eggs, so this was an issue for me. Additionally, from a religious perspective, ham is not permitted for some guests, and having it heated together with other food in the same tray be considered unacceptable. "

"Where do I start. I will start with check in, which was very confusing and not intuitive. I had to go upstairs and walk around a little and ask. I ended up checking in with Hank, WHO WAS AWESOME!!!! He said I was in room 12 and that it is their haunted room. Excuse me, what?! I was freaked! I had no idea this Inn was haunted! I went to the room and the smell was absolutely awful. It was a musky scent and I sneezed and sneezed and sneezed. I didn’t sleep a wink due not only being scared to death but also the scent and sneezing all night. My nose ran for hours. The scent is hideous. This Inn is old, like 1800’s old so the floors creek and the heat system is very loud. I unfortunately did not enjoy my stay here AT ALL and left first thing in the morning. If you want to hang out with ghosts, perhaps this is for you. I will say though that the bed was incredibly comfortable!!! Other than that, I wish I never wasted my money coming here. "
