"Arrived and our room was apparently left halfway through cleaning..dirty blankets on the bed in a pile..no more king rooms Available so gave us 2 beds..next night was horrible..cockroaches..multiple..staff out twice killing and spraying…still more..up all night watching them :("

"El Caribe Resort stands out among many properties because of its incredible location, beautiful ocean views, and convenient beach access. My family and I have been visiting for the past seven years, and we've created many wonderful memories there. Unfortunately, we've noticed a significant decline in the property's upkeep over time. During this most recent stay, there were not enough towels or blankets available, the elevators were unreliable, the pools were no longer heated, doors frequently jammed, and the rooms were not as clean as they should have been. We encountered dirty tables, mold on the shower and balcony curtains, and even the ice machine was out of service! If it weren't for the unbeatable location and the emotional connection our family has to this resort, we likely would not return. It's truly disappointing to see a property with so much potential and such a loyal following fall into disrepair. We sincerely hope management invests in improving and maintaining the resort so future guests can enjoy the experience it once offered."

"For the price the location was great! Note that parking is not free and should be more obviously stated. Guest parking is also not free and is not at the hotel it's across 2 streets. The pool bar has been closed for a long while. Had a great time, clean and friendly staff. Good bang for your buck at this location you can walk everywhere!"

"We asked to be on a high floor, that they accommodated. Very polite and helpful helpful. They always have smiles. The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen and an extra sink and mirror, which my husband liked. Definitely had plenty of room for all my stuff and my husband's small suitcase....lol. would definitely recommend it to anyone."
