"I really liked this inn. It has its own laundry, it is conveniently placed next to a gas station and place to eat. The scenery in the area is spectacular too. I really appreciate how clean it was. Five star for cleanliness! They give you a set of packed mini toiletries too. The only downside was the noise. I could clearly hear people from other rooms and the hallway, but not a deal breaker for me esp. that it’s reasonably priced. Would def come back and recommend this to others! The staff are nice too"

"Great location in the middle of the town and nearby parks. Hotel and room are well maintained and super clean. The only negative are that there's no breakfast room, so you have to take food back to your room. Also, there's a fridge but no microwave in the room. Easy parking."

"The GarageMahal was a sweet little cabin with all you could want, and more! The kitchen had everything you need for cooking in, bathroom, bedrooms, and living room were comfy & cozy. The waterfalls and stream were beautiful, the scenery and grounds around the cabin amazing, and you couldn’t want for better hosts. There was a pumpkin and an indoor mum plant - a welcome touch for our October Stay! Highly recommend!"

"Lee is a responsive and accommodating host. The grounds of the large property are lovely, and the location for hking (skiing - in season) and access to the beauty of Canaan Valley is excellent. Seasonal decorations throughout the house and grounds were festive and welcoming. The owners clearly are making nice improvements to the home, including the recently built fire pit and pickleball court. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, but rainy weather and a short stay prevented us from playing pickleball. The house would benefit if sofas, mattresses, and linens could be updated. The kitchen is well stocked with many small appliances and enough plates and utensils so our large group could have meals together. We enjoyed our time!"

"This was by far the best experience I have ever had with lodging. The place was absolutely amazing and did not skip on anything. It was immaculate and allowed our group to have the most wonderful getaway. The host is amazing as well. Great communication. I hope to be back for another stay. Highly recommended"

"We arrived after dark. Entry was extremely easy. The bathrooms needed extra attention because of hair but we cleaned them so no problem. I do NOT recommend this cabin for toddlers. The cabin is fine but it is right next to a well traveled road and there is really no place for children to play outside. The river is across the road but there is a no trespassing sign on the property across the road so you have to find an entry point if you want to enjoy it. We were hiking and stargazing so not enjoying that river was not a problem."

"My wife and I along with our dog, Millie, stayed 5 nights while exploring this area during peak foliage season. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The resort was very quiet and peaceful. Usually we are not in our vacation rental during the day but we especially enjoyed this cozy cabin on this trip as we rode out Cyclone Isaias for a day and a half as it dumped 3 inches of rain on the area. It is always a treat to find a great place that is also dog-friendly!"
