"This hotel was awful. The hot spring (public and private), restaurant, and all spa features were closed or non existent. This was not communicated to us at all. Do not stay here - you are risking a below average room with no resort features to offer. Even the escalators here were powered down and whole sections of the resort area were boarded up. The rooms need a deep clean badly and have a moldy smell, like you are living inside an algea cave. "

"We loved the roof-top pool - it is a great place to relax after a day exploring southern Taiwan. There are some very good restaurants a short walk from the hotel."

"We really enjoyed our stay, but I have to say it probably won't appeal to the vast majority of Western tourists. We really enjoyed the hot springs, the rooms are clean but basic. The whole hotel honestly is showing its age but still give our stay a five-star and it wasn't a problem for us. But if you are expecting Holiday inn or a Hilton it might be a bit of surprise. The location is quite remote which we enjoyed. We did find some heat waterfalls and some hiking within about a 15 to 20 minute drive but there's not much else around."

"It has one of the best hot spring in the area. The location is on a place where there isn’t any of restaurants outside of the property. However, if you visit this place you will want to enjoy all the amenities within the property. By the way, all the amenities can still be enjoyed for free after you check out of your room"

"The property is right across the street from the ocean with great walking paths. There are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance. They offer driver service, which I used to go to the aquarium. The pricing was very reasonable. I reserved a single, which was WAY roomier than I expected. The double bed was very comfortable. The hotel as a whole could use a refresh, but had some nice amenities. The laundry room was clean and priced below the usual. The restaurant food is mediocre, which is a shame since that's your only choice if you don't have a car."
