Reunion stay
Roomy. Furnace not working when we got there, but after fixed, it was fine. Older home with lots of antiques. Kitchen had what we needed. Roomy, so we could visit and prepare food together. Lots of stairs, but there was a bedroom and bath on 1st floor for those with bad knees! Large dining room so we could all eat together

Great place for a family reunion
We loved the beautiful Victorian home and the en-suite bathrooms. The owner was very responsive to our concerns but the air quality in the home overall was musty and needed airing out before we were comfortable in the space. The upper floor was uninhabitable due to strong odors. Also, the kitchen dishware could use replenishing as we struggled to find enough glasses and mixing bowls for kitchen prep.

Large beautiful period house with modern comforts
This house was perfect for 16 guests from three families. The rooms are all beautiful with a historic wealthy-river-town feel. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern. The large deck off the kitchen is a great hanging place. There are other nice and some once-nice (rehab-ready, and you'll be coveting a project) houses in the neighborhood, all very interesting to stroll by. There is also a nearby cross street where the sidewalks are an entire block of stairs, both sides. Cool.
