Offering panoramic views of white sand and Gulf waves that stretch for miles, this beautiful home features spacious, covered porches on the upper, lower levels and a sun deck. With 1,600 square feet of living space, and beach access mere steps away. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and there's plenty of room for everyone at mealtime around the large dining table. If the weather is nice - and it probably is - dine alfresco on any of three picnic tables. After a day on the sand, enjoy entertainment options at home with two 65" Smart TVs including free cable and WiFi. More vacation necessities include central AC, a washer/dryer, and gas grill.



    This Gulf-front home is a haven for beach-goers, cyclists, anglers, and birders. You can take a boat out to the 132-foot Sand Island Lighthouse, which sits roughly three miles south of the Mobile Bay entrance. The fascinating marine exhibits at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab at The Estuarium are six miles east, as are the wonderfully preserved Fort Gaines and the Dauphin Island Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Cyclists will also delight in miles of paved biking paths on the island - you can even bike to the ferry and ride over to Fort Morgan for a perfect day trip.

Great property. My family and I have been to Dauphin Island several times. We all agreed this was the best one yet. House was clean, well equipped and a great location. Fishing was good as well as the daily nap. Had a great much needed time to chill.

Beach front vacation

The location to the beach is great. The house pro's are the two decks - very roomy and some coverage, the upstairs room with the bunk beds and two bedrooms is great for family with kids and of course the short walk to the beach. The cons are the couch down stairs is just not good - very dated and uncomfortable, the dishwasher did not seem to clean the dishes very well (had to rewash), the bathroom downstairs has a very small shower and the water can not be adjusted for anyone under 6 feet, and the microwave was so so. We did have a good vacation but I think that some issues should be addressed.

Most relaxing vacation ever

We absolutely adored the location of this property. It is directly on the beach. We had no issues with the house or location at all. Overall, we’d book this place again and thought it was wonderful! There were plenty of towels, plenty of room in the closets to hang or put your stuff. There are no dressers, but there is shelving in the closets. They’ve got plenty of dishes, utensils, baking/cooking pans, and coffee pots for pods and pour over. If you plan to cook, bring cooking spray, aluminum foil, coffee or coffee pods, etc as they do not have those items. We only attempted to turn on one TV one time, and it wouldn’t work well enough to watch. We finally got it to connect but it was grainy and you couldn’t watch it. We didn’t care, though, because we were there to relax at/on the beach, not watch TV. There are more houses around this house than pictured (but the entire island is pretty well packed with houses). The biggest caution I have is that the lot directly between this house and the ocean is for sale. So there will eventually be a house built between this one and the beach. Our “cons” for this property are very minor; if you want water front, this is the place!
