Sandy Lane Villa is situated in a beautifully landscaped complex of three bedroom, three bathroom units with an ocean front pool and wooden walkway to the beach. The unit offers spectacular views of the ocean is nicely decorated and has three bedrooms. The two master suites have king beds and the third bedroom has two twins. Each bedroom also has its own bath. The huge living and dining area has great windows and a wrap-around balcony overlooking a private beach. You have a front row seat for the brilliant Daufuskie sunrises, and a perfect place to watch the dolphins play while you relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes. There is a flat screen TV and queen sleeper in the living room of the unit. The Dining area seats 6. The fully equipped kitchen includes a granite breakfast bar and top of the line appliances. Laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen. Gas grills are provided for residents use, at a pavilion next to the complex. If you want to explore and learn more about Daufuskie during your stay, there are a number of different activities at very reasonable prices. These include various tours to explore both the history of the Island and the natural wonders that exist there. There is also group kayaking and horse back riding which are great ways to take in the pristine beauty of the island. Dolphin cruises and off-shore fishing are offered as well.

We have stayed in this unit and other withing the complex many times and love this location. it is a home away from home. This particular unit lacks a big TV and games if you are looking for that, but we are typically outside and bring our own games, so it is great. Highly recommend, just don't tell your friends!

Fabulous Host!

The property was more than we expected, Susan and her husband went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We couldn't have asked for anything more! I accidentally left a personal item behind, I contacted Susan and she handled it with professionalism and very prompt attention. We will be renting this unit for years to come!

Daufuskie trip

I've stayed on Daufuskie approximately 10 times since 2017. Have stayed at Sandy Lane Villas about half the time. This unit/experience was somewhere between ok & good. The cleaning fee is quite steep, especially when you consider the porch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Most of the patio furniture is broken as well. The kitchen was lacking several items I'd consider to be essential (ex baking sheet) and a number of items were dirty/need to be replaced. One of our bags fell off the trailer on the ride from county dock to the property, which resulted in the loss of some items. I feel like things could've been handled a little better in regard to that. If this unit were a bit cleaner, better stocked, & the price more in line w units I've stayed at in the same complex (including nye) I'd be more inclined to give 5 stars. Overall, you can't beat this complex when it comes views & access to the beach.
