The pool was nice, but not the same in pictures. Does get very slippery when wearing sandals. The buffet was good, not a lot of variety, but liked how it had viet food, ask to order pho and some western food. The AC did turn off and is set on a timer to turn off which was a little annoying. But overall, great stay!

Grand du Lac was an absolute standout and easily one of my favorite hotels during our time in Vietnam. The location is wonderfully central, putting you within easy reach of so many places; whether we felt like strolling there on foot or hopping in a quick Grab ride, everything just felt convenient.
But what really made the stay special was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they remembered us and greeted us each time we returned. They even reached out via WhatsApp to check if we needed anything, which was a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel truly looked after.
If you’re looking for a hotel that nails both location and hospitality, Grand du Lac delivers on every front. We can’t wait to come back :)
