"Check in was super fast. The staff very friendly. When we walked into the room we were impressed by how clean it was. It smelled so fresh. Breakfast was good and a decent variety. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were too. Again, i am impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The housekeepers are amazing "

Not many toiletries provided, with promise of being able to pick some up from the office. Office however never staffed and toiletries not restocked. All in all, ok if paying around $60 per night (Elite room). "

"Sunshine Cottage is in a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood in Manteo. It's a perfect home base for exploring the Outer Banks. The cottage was spotless when we checked in, and the furnishings, provided linens and towels, and nicely equipped kitchen made our stay a breeze. I can't say enough good things about the comfortable beds — so welcome after a long day of activities. The cottage has great water pressure for those who enjoy an invigorating shower. We're not TV watchers when on holiday, but there are three nice sets for those who don't want to miss favorite shows."
