This was the perfect place for us to stay while we attended a family reunion up at Fales Flat Campground. It was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
This was the perfect place for our family of five’s weekend ski trip. It was very clean and comfortable, and the setting was peaceful and beautiful. A bonus was the herds of elk along the road every morning and evening. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a wonderful cabin to getaway and connect with family and nature. Beautiful scenery. The cabin had everything needed for a week long stay

Great experience
The home was perfect in a beautiful setting. The kids loved the swing. Beds were comfy and the home was filled with the up to date appliances and electronics. I would stay here again.
Home was beautiful. Furnishings were lovely and beds very comfortable. The air conditioner was very helpful when one day hit 100 degrees. We so enjoyed sitting in the back yard listening to the river run by and enjoying the woods. We were so surprised when 25 turkeys paraded just feet by us as we sat outside! Darby has two new restaurants that were great and we enjoyed hiking the nearby trails. Of course my husband loved fishing the West Fork of the Bitterroot. We will be back!
Excellent listing , beautiful cabin , great clean furnishings!
Only one thing i could say is the next door property could be cleaned up , no noise or any other negative!
We enjoyed our stay and will be back again! Thank you
The property is perfectly located for our trip. We flyfish the West Fork and this location made it easy to meet our guides at the launches. The river is close to the home and makes the best sounds to fall asleep to.
Management was responsive to all our pre arrival questions and everything in the home was as advertised.
Accommodation was new and decorated with a Montana feel. No cell service but used internet for calling and it worked great. Owners provided a nice resource notebook with all the info needed from where to shop, sites to see, and best restaurants. Comfortable bedding and linens and nice TVs with Direct TV and steaming subscription access.
We will definitely make this our first choice for return trips.
All the comorts of home in a gorgeous and private mountain setting!
The cabin was super clean and well supplied with everything we could want. The hosts had gone the extra mile to make EVERYTHING extra comfortable and even provided family games and ingredients for smores. Enjoyed coffee every morning on the comfy patio furniture, listening to the sound of the mountain stream running behind the property. One morning a young male moose walked 10 feet in front of me!! Cabin is right by some wonderful hiking trails in the Bitteroot National Forest too.
I did give a little lower rating because our check in was stressful. We did not get information about how to check in and after a long day of driving had to drive back into town about 15 miles one way (to get internet) while the rest of the family waited outside the cabin to contact vrbo.
Aside from the check in snafu, the rest of our stay was fabulous in every way!! We can't recommend this host and cabin strongly enough!! :)
Cabin was spotless when we arrived. Was surprised a camp trailer was on site and a large black dog frequented the area. Instructions re: WiFi access, your expectations, were well explained in the book in the cabin. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. Karen
The property was as advertised.. even better. It was exceptionally well maintained and apportioned. The location is spectacular and there were zero surprises.
The property was in a great location for us. Close enough to Darby and to wonderful off road trails. Quite and piece full! Saw lots of wildlife. Hope to be back next year!
Nice to sit by the creek in the evening. 2 cow elk were out calling to each other one morning! Cool!
Would be nice if some of the weeds close to cabin were cut down.
The property looked just as advertised, and maybe better. The cabin is extremely clean and all is in good condition. No worn out furnishings or appliances. Finishes are not scuffed up, either. The owners have thought of all you need for your stay,
We visited while snow was still on the ground. So we didn’t make use of the outdoors. But it was pretty!
