"If you want to be on a beautiful beach, this place is fantastic. The on-site host, lives next-door, set up our shaded beach shelter every day for us. The road to the place is right on the beach and four-wheel-drive is pretty much needed."

Host was very friendly and helpful. No restaurant on property but does have full kitchen.Note: beach in front of hotel is not private and gets busy, loud at times with ATV tours. Guard walks the property at night, makes you wonder why needed. Pool was very warm, not very refreshing. Also note, only bedrooms are air conditioned, main living areas are not!"

"The VRBO was a solid stay; clean, had all the essentials. Missing a few little things like body soap and laundry detergent which were also not available at the little market in town. The cleaners did bring laundry detergent upon request which was great. A few planning tidbidts; las catalinas is adorable! But it is isolated and feels very different from other towns. Not a traditional costa rican feel if that is what you are looking for. The VRBO had a great kitchen set up but you'll need to get groceries before coming into town, there is no where to do real shopping once you arrive. Uber is not a dependable option in this location, highly suggest a rental car or dont plan on leaving."
