Staff excellent. Setting beautiful. We stayed in the old house which had real charm, but was a little tired. Beyond the historic house is a conference centre, with spa. We ate an evening meal in the 1744 restaurant which was well priced and very tasty.

Very tired room, TV didnt work properly even after maintenance tried to fix it. Carpet stained, bathroom with lots of damage and generally very poor value for the money charged. Reception staff good.
