Looking for hotel luxury without the cost? Look no further! Welcome to the Capistrano Beach Cottage! We are a “coastal modern” beach cottage located in the beautiful city of Dana Point, California. The beach cottage is part of a duplex. The cottage featured in this listing is a 3-bedroom and 2-bath (half of the duplex). *[If you're interested in renting the other half of the duplex it is also available for rent, a 2-bedroom/1 bath cottage (VRBO listing 732348). Book both sides for a large family group, which can sleep up to 14 people.]

This recently remodeled luxurious 3-bedroom and 2-bath home is located just a half a mile from the beautiful beach. To take advantage of all the fun in the sun we offer 6 beach cruisers, surf & boogie boards, a stylish patio, and so much more!

Inspired by the easy breezy feel of beach living and modern luxury, the Capistrano Beach Cottage has been designed with hotel-like appeal while providing a relaxed beach-life atmosphere. Get away from the everyday and escape to luxury right here!

Location, Location, Location! Walk to the beach! The Capistrano Beach Cottage is conveniently located ½ mile (just a 10-minute walk) to the beach, and a few minutes away by car to local grocery, restaurants, and the most breathtaking beaches in all of Southern California.

The beach cottage has been designed to provide you with similar luxuries to a resort-style hotel. The master bedroom features a cozy king bed, and crisp white linens. Open the barn door to the luxurious ensuite bathroom featuring a custom walk-in rain shower, his and hers vanity, and a private restroom. The bathroom comes stocked with spa-style robes and slippers, a one-day supply of hotel-sized toiletries, hair dryer, and other essentials.

The second bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, crisp linens, and plenty of comfortable blankets and pillows. The third bedroom is perfect for the kids, with a full and twin sized bunk bed plus a trundle on the bottom, and everything that is needed for a relaxing night’s sleep after a long day at the beach.

Unlike many of the properties in the area, our cottage features central heating and air conditioning to keep cool on warm summer days. Need to do laundry? No problem! We’ve got you covered with a full-size washer and dryer, along with all you need to make your clothes fresh and clean. Bath and beach towels are provided for your stay compliments of us.

Why dine out when you can make an amazing meal in our fully stocked gourmet kitchen? We have everything you can possibly think of for cooking up a storm -- an assortment of cookware, bakeware and kitchen staples such as spices, condiments, oils, sugar, butter, flour, coffee, tea, and more.

The beach cottage has been designed for your ultimate entertainment experience with an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen to chat with your guests. The living room boasts a flat screen TV with over 150 channels, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi access.

Step outside to the stylish patio furnished with a comfortable, vacation-club inspired sofa set, gas BBQ, retractable awning, and the perfect surroundings of the natural beauty of this quiet neighborhood.

Looking to take a bike ride down to the beach? We've thought of it all! We have four top-of-the line beach cruisers and two children’s scooters waiting for you to take for a spin! There is also an assortment of beach equipment available for your use, including surf boards, body boards, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. All of which are available for you to use at any time.

Beautiful Beach House in the middle of Southern Cal

We rented this beach house because it was in the middle of LA and San Diego that did not disappoint. The area of Dana Point is a secret gem. It’s such a cute costal town. Whale watching at Dana Point Is a must! The host was very respectful and responsive. The house was very clean and well cared for. I would most definitely stay again.

Awesome beach house

This property has it all for your family. It was clean and quiet. We cooked several times and enjoyed using the air fryer. Our kids were too young to use the bikes but it would have been an excellent option for teens. A hidden gem in Dana point

I am the mother of the groom from the East Coast. We had family flying in from all over. We all selected house rentals. I got the best one. We had 7 people for 5 days. The duplex was immaculate. It had everything we needed. Home away from home. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I stayed for a wedding in San Clemente however had been there a few days before in San Diego visiting family as well. We all 4 adults 2 babies and 1 toddler fit comfortable in this home with plenty of space to enjoy the luxury! Renting made easy by contract and access to the property

Dana Point vacation

The VRBO was clean and inviting. There were 3 travelers in our group and we were happy to each have our own bedroom. The kitchen was great! It had everything we needed to make a few meals and hang out. When I contacted the management about a burner knob coming off, they responded immediately and sent someone over within 20 minutes. Very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this unit and would stay again if/when coming back to Dana Point, CA. The only complaint would be the neighbors who park in the street and their vehicle blocks a small portion of the driveway, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Beach bike get away

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We actually live in San Diego, but wanted to see a different part of the coast and found this rental on Airbnb. In the description over and over it talks about the beach and the bikes. This is the main reason we went with this property. We envisioned ourselves riding bikes along the beach daily. I even looked at a map to be sure how close we were to the beach. What the maps and the booking don’t tell you is that to get to the beach there is a huge hill! I’m not kidding. It is the tsunami escape route, that’s how steep it is! So we never got to use the bikes and that was a huge disappointment. So I just want to let others know. Other than that a nice place. But the beachiest thing about it is really the decor.
