Dana Point cozy air conditioned dog friendly coastal retreat

Air conditioned coastal beach house in the heart of Dana Point's lantern district within walking distance to Dana Harbor, Strands and Doheny beach, dozens of Dana Point restaurants bars and shops! This home was completely remodeled and includes 3 bedroom 3 full bathrooms!
Each bedroom's full bathroom is completely ensuite - so 3 master's! Master 1 and 2 contain King Sized Beds, Master 3 has a queen size bed. The nautical library can be used for overflow for visiting guests.

The expansive Gourmet Kitchen was remodeled with 2 sinks, Quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances and a massive 48 inch 6 burner, griddle with double oven.
There is a private courtyard in the back yard with 5 person hot tub

There is a dedicated parking space with alley access adjacent to garage.

Above the garage is a roof top deck!

This beach cottage has it all! Perfect for 3 couples or 2 families.

Great stay. My teens loved the hot tub after a long day of fishing! Two electric bikes came with the place. They were awesome. Lots of very good restaurants close by. Our favorite was Giana Italian, Two blocks way. Very comfortable beds. Great Vrbo for dogs !!

Love the Lantern District

Our stay in Dana Point was wonderful. The house was so nice, clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Mike was a truly great host. Any questions or issues we had were dealt with immediately and he couldn’t have been nicer. Would stay again next year if someone hadn’t beat us to it!! Julie and Steve

Awesome time in DP

Mike is a fantastic host. He has thought of everything. The beach toys, chairs, surfboards, golf cart and bikes are fantastic. The house is walkable to the harbor and lantern district, which has wonderful restaurants. The house is fully stocked for cooking and has a great set up for families. Our teens also loved the hot tub after a day at the beach. This is a great rental and Mike is super responsive and a wonderful host! This is our second year in a row renting for July and we will back.

Amazing walkable location

Mike was a wonderful host. Fully stocked kitchen with tons of spices and dry goods to use. Hot tub private and used often. Nice patio with a shade so never really used it in January. Would have loved to have the patio furniture up on the rooftop deck instead of bar stools that were up there. Beds were very comfortable. Never got a chance to ride the available e-bikes but loved that they were available. Some improvements like better pots and pans, more bedroom furniture and duvets, and nicer deck furniture would go a long way. But the location couldn’t be beat.

Awesome stay in Dana Point

Mike was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with, answered super quickly and super helpful. The house is so cute and in an awesome location, that was super walkable to shops and restaurants. We loved that we could park our large suv in the space behind the house and rarely needed it. Mikes golf cart and electric bikes made it super easy to get to the beach. We loved the surf boards, paddle boards, chairs and all the awesome beach stuff he provided. Our teenagers loved the hot tub. The kitchen and baths are newly updated and beautiful. Beds were super comfy and there was plenty of space even when we hosted 5 teenagers for a week. We loved having our golden retrievers with us and they loved their morning walks to the harbor. The Saturday farmers market is basically in your front yard and it’s an awesome farmers market. This is the best vacation rental we ve had and we will back. Mike was a great host and all the neighbors were super friendly and welcoming.
