The wide sandy beaches and the marina with its cafes and restaurants are particularly attractive for families with children.

Activities nearby: The Baltic Sea resort of Damp is located 16 km northeast of Eckernförde on the Schwansen peninsula, between Eckernförde Bay and the Schlei. Damp is located directly on the beautiful, 4 km long sandy beach. There is also an activity beach with games, a dog beach and a nudist beach. You can rent beach chairs directly on site. Damp and the Baltic coast offer you an almost endless range of things to do: take advantage of the nice weather to go on a bike ride in Schwansen, or take a boat trip on the Schlei. If the weather isn't so good, go to Eckernförde for a shopping spree on market days. For the children, a visit to the candy factory in Eckernförde, the chocolate factory in Kappeln or the Haithabu Viking Museum in Schleswig would be a little highlight. Fun for the whole family is guaranteed with a visit to the Damp discovery pool with a view of the Baltic Sea. From a huge event slide with light projection to a sauna landscape, sauna Viking village and the adventure children's pool for experimenting and exploring, you will be offered pure variety here.
