What a great location! Far enough out that it feels remote, but close enough to town if you need something. The property was clean and accommodating. The host was great and responded quickly to our questions.
We came to spend time with our great grandmother. She was comfortable in the house and that is our number one. We visited the breathtaking Brazos Bend State Park each day. This is a very remote location, so bring everything including all groceries with you and enjoy the quiet.
We enjoyed every thing about this trip. The owner was extremely helpful and was quick at responding. The place was clean and soooo relaxing. We loved having the trail to the river and all of the wildlife coming to the deer feeder was a bonus. My husband and i loved relaxing in the hot tub and cooking out on the grill outside. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home! Will do that again if we're every in the area again!
Secluded home in a nice neighborhood! We loved the views out the picture windows! The hot tub, screened porch and outdoor fire pit area made our stay even more enjoyable! The extra thoughtful touches of the snacks and games and plenty of tissues, paper towels, soaps and shampoos made this home one of our favorites!! Thank you! :)
A cozy retreat that felt like home away from home!
The place was amazing! Way more beautiful than the pictures!
- clear walking path to the river with no fear of getting lost
- different options for BBQ with extra efficient outdoor sink
- nice kitchen with proper utensils, plastic bags (which came very handy), and something to snack on
- plenty of bottled water, which I am really appreciative of that
- very bright light for outdoor sitting at night
- romantic jacuzzi with good pressure that I wish was a bit cleaner
- giant windows give you a fantastic view! It was very peaceful to get up looking at that view
- The AC worked perfectly, no complaints about the temperature at all
Overall, it was a perfect, peaceful place to escape a day from the city. We will come back!
Southern hospitality at its finest - can’t wait to return!
We had a remarkable stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom home in Damon, Texas. Set on a gated and secluded property, this home was a perfect blend of privacy and luxury, complete with a relaxing hot tub. The short, scenic walk to the river along a well-maintained path was a delightful experience, and the regular visits from deer at the feeder added a touch of natural wonder to our stay.
The cleanliness and amenities of the home exceeded our expectations. Everything, from the provision of codes and Wi-Fi details to the seamless check-in process, was handled with great attention to detail. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after each day's adventures.
The sitting areas at the back of the house were especially enjoyable, offering a serene space for unwinding and spending quality time with family. The overall experience at this property was outstanding, and we would most definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. A true five-star experience!
We really enjoyed staying at this property on the edge of the Brazos River state park. We were visiting our daughter for the birth of a grandchild, and found the house spacious, peaceful, clean, with a truly awesome view of the words from the bedroom and living room. My son-in-law walked down to the river several times and thought it was awesome, and the whole neighborhood was friendly. We often travel to Texas, and hope to stay here again.
Amazing Stay!! The house smelled great, first thing we noticed when walking in. It was super clean, beds were plush and comfortable. The little extras were a nice touch, and we had everything we needed to prepare a nice meal. Going to bed every evening seeing Deer, Owls, and other wildlife… Waking up to them as well as hearing the birds was pleasant. Very private, and peaceful. Big picture windows with a nice view. Hot tub was plenty hot and very clean as well. We will stay again if in the area!!! Thank you.
