"Most international flights arrive early in the morning. After a long-haul flight and multiple connections, travelers are exhausted and simply want a decent place to rest. That is one of the main reasons we book a good hotel. Before my trip, I specifically emailed the hotel’s Guest Services team regarding my early-morning arrival. I was told that they would accommodate me with an early check-in, subject to room availability. When I arrived at around 4:00 AM on September 5, however, the two gentlemen at the reception immediately refused to provide me with a room and told me that no rooms were available until 2:00 PM approximately 10 hours later. After a lengthy discussion, they offered me a room for half a day for Rs. 35,000. I calmly pointed out that I had already paid approximately Rs. 30,000 for a full day, so being asked to pay Rs. 35,000 for half a day did not make much sense. Unfortunately, after such a long journey, I was exhausted and in no position to continue arguing. I eventually paid the additional amount. After being repeatedly told that no rooms were available until 2:00 PM, a room somehow appeared immediately after I agreed to pay the additional charge. For comparison, Marriott Islamabad and Serena Islamabad have always stood by what their Guest Services teams communicated to me. On previous occasions, with similar early-morning arrival times. I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously. The front desk experience makes a huge difference,"

"The staff is great--very helpful. I've stayed here multiple times and keep coming back because I really like it. Gofas Lodge is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of F7 Markaz/Jinnah Super Market and E-7 Markaz. I have one recommendation. There are a limited number of useable outlets in the room. Several are the very large 3-rounded prong outlets, which are mostly useless to people staying there. There are some smart plugs which allow US, UK, Pk and EU plugs to work, but a couple of those were not usable because the connection was too loose. I also would have liked to have good outlets located on both sides of the bed for charging devices overnight. So please replace the large, unusable giant 3-prong outlets with smart outlets, and replace some of the well-used smart outlets with newer ones so that connections are tight, and the items we plug in stay plugged in and work."

"Rooms were very clean. Staff was excellent. Lots of variety in breakfast. One concern was the water drainage was not good and also water leaking out from the glass around the standing shower."
