The Birchtree Hotel
Staff were amazing, the hotel could do with a freshen up in the corridors but when things were wrong in the room the staff were dead helpful. Nice area too.

The Crown Hotel
The room was huge,bed was comfortable. Shower was warm. Except for the rain, we liked Newton Steward.

Beautiful lodge, nicely decorated and very clean and tidy. Lots of space within the lodge, great amenities for cooking etc and gorgeous views with sheep in the field across which was lovely. Ernambrie Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 2 bedrooms
Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.
