"Lovely location about a 20 minute gentle stroll to centre of Hvar Room lovely with good air conditioning and nice shower. Shame they never replaced fresh drinking water in the 5 day stay preferring you to pay a lot of money for their bottled water despite telling us the water in all of Croatia is so safe and delicious. Sunbeds never an issue to get and no reserving which was refreshing to see. Beachside drinks service a bit hit and miss Take beach shoes as the rocks are slippy underfoot but the sea so clean and wonderful Would do well to add a beach snack menu which I’m sure would go down well during the day Would definitely visit again"

"Lovely hotel, and location. Nice walk round the bay into Hvar old town. Pool is lovely, breakfast is great. view from hotel out to pool, and sea beyond is truly gorgeous. Superior room was modern, but quite small, and the balcony overlooked a side street, so could have been better, and not much wardrobe or storage space. Beach attached to hotel is nice, and the water was lovely to swim in. Unfortunately even though we were staying at hotel they wanted to charge us 20EUR each for a sunbed! And the guy collecting the money had an Amfora Shirt on... that was disappointing. We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary, and the staff were aware but beyond acknowledging it was our anniversary on arrival, there was nothing else offered as a gesture. Overall the hotel was lovely, and location great, would definitely recommend."

"We had a wedding at Aminess on June 13th. Family came from Canada, Ireland, Germany - to meet other friends and family from Croatia. Many of us stayed at the resort. It was a wonderful experience, all around. I cannot thank everyone enough - the setting was spectacular, the service impeccable - people were so kind, helpful and friendly - it all culminated in the most wonderful evening and we have so many lovely memories to cherish. I have been recommending Aminess to all my friends since I have come back to Canada. Thank you all again! Anna"

"The view from the hotel is amazing, it is walking distance from the old town and there are two small beach right next to it. We had half board which is a good alternative if you don’t want to have dinner out every night. The breakfast was good (wish there was a wider variety of fruit, but that is a personal preference) and dinner had a lot of options to choose from. The best part about it is definitely the staff who were all very nice and friendly."
