Pros: Clean and friendly service and convenient parking Cons: single residence room without bowls, utensils, and plates was surprising; had to buy dish soap, kitchen brush, paper plates, & fruit knife to survive for 13 days. Bathroom had no soap. first thing I had to do was going down and grab one to wash hands. It was annoying as I wanted to wash my hands after hours travel. I Couldn’t open the blinds as neighbors could see my room inside. Had to request room change. Breakfast was mostly Korean dishes except boiled eggs, white bread, shredded cabbage, oj but no milk, no cereal, no yogurt.

Great place to stay on a budget! Staff were professional and friendly. The 2x twin room we stayed in was small but that is the intentional design. Very clean and quiet. It is a little bit further away from “things to do” but it’s only about a kilometer walk at most.

The big refrigerator and cooktop in the room was a great amenity. I purchased more kitchenware at eMart and left it there for other patrons.

It has great korean and continental breakfast that are excellent. We didn't expect great korean style breakfast and was great. It seems the cook care about what they are making for customers.

장점: 가격 대비 방 크기가 넓어 좋았고 무료 조식 반찬수도 많고 맛있었다 단점: 레지던스 더블룸이라 방이 큰 편인데 비해 콘센트 부족! 침대에서 손에 닿을만한 거리에 콘센트 없어 핸드폰 충전을 멀리서 해야함. 호텔룸이 ㄷ자 구조라 방 창문 블라인드를 올리면 다양한 객실 안이 보이고 건너편 대전정부청사 불켜진 사무실도 잘 보여 내 방도 잘 보일거 같아 블라인드를 계속 내리고 있었다

A standard chain-type hotel. The reception staff were efficient and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable enough, but a bit dated. The bathroom was a small prefab unit, which seemed much too small for the size of the room. The toilet was tiny. There were no sockets by the bed. Only small towels, which seems to be the custom, but it would be nice to have larger ones available in a hotel of this type. Breakfast itself was good and there was a reasonable range of options, but the breakfast area was plain odd. Each single breakfast table had a chair facing the same direction. There were not many options for sitting as a pair or group. It felt more like taking an examination than a breakfast. The overly bright lighting and white furniture also made it hard to have a relaxing breakfast.

Excellent hotel in interesting part of South Korea
Excellent hotel with good value room rates. This hotel is part of the Toyoko franchise and the Japanese influence is very strong. ie this is a typical Japanese business mans hotel even though it is in Korea. (Japanese power outlets and the raised bathroom modules are dead give aways. No problem as the hotel provides convertor plugs for Korean appliacnces.Breakfast provided an excellent choice with a different meal for each of the four days we were there.

Stayed for 8 nights and everything was great. Comfortable room and hotel is within walking distance of everything you could need. Lots of yummy choices at the breakfast buffet.
Large room, lots of closet space, double bed was comfortable.
Room had washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, stove cook top (but no pots/pans, plates, or utensils).
Bidet toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided by hotel.

Spacious and clean
We loved staying at Toyoko Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful and could understand and communicate in English. The breakfast was good. Would just be great to have a coffee option to take to your room as well and not only Green Tee.

Clean but painful
The hotel is in great condition and impeccably clean. The staff was extremely competent and pleasant. My only complain was the beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. I’ve camped in mountains that were softer than the bed I had last weekend. After running 13 miles in the Daejeon Marathon the bed was sheer agony.

Our twin room suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. Guests and staff were quiet. The breakfast buffets were tasty and ample. Having a laundry machine and dryer on the property was very helpful.

My church mates and I made this reservation,online, at the last minute due to logistical challenges with our previous arranged stay. Happily, less than an hour we arrived at the hotel and found our reservations acknowledged as requested and ready for us. The staff were quite friendly and helped us through out given their late hour.

Fantastic experience
It was one of the most satisfying hotel I have stayed in Korea. From check-in to check-out. The destination, LEE Eungro Museum, was also close, and the view and night view were great. Breakfast was normal, however.

Very strict about checking in at 4 pm, we arrived at 3 pm, but they would not allow you in. If you want the room cleaned, must notify the front before 10 am, otherwise, no room make up for the day. I wish they were more clear about this during check in. Also strict about check out time, 10 am. I've asked for just 1 hr, they asked to pay 11,000 won up front.

The property was super inexpensive but clean and with a small room and double bed adequate for an overnight stay near the Bus service from Incheon Terminal 1 following a two and a half hour ride. Near, though, meant across a lighted park of probably 5 blocks in the dark to large distant buildings. For this visitor, the free wifi password was not numerical, and in Korean so it was impossible to log in with my Laptop. Taxi service worked quickly in the morning, though I needed to rustle some help from an English speaker, since the one staff at the checkout counter knew too little English to help direct a Taxi.
