The Rolling Roost—Downtown Dade City

Welcome to The Rolling Roost — a unique RV'n'B tucked on our family's property at the edge of historic downtown Dade City. The home was built in 1954, and this corner of old Florida still feels like it.

Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or a parent with little ones visiting for one of Pasco's annual festivals. Walk to Historic Church Ave — sangria bar, craft brewery, gourmet dining, ice cream, and antique shops.

This 2021 Grand Design Imagine XLS features a queen bed, double-over-double bunks, a full kitchen with 3-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, and double-door fridge — plus a full bathroom with shower. You'll also have access to the RV's built-in outdoor kitchen.

Outside: fire pit, shaded seating under old oaks, a 20' lit awning, and a portable Bluetooth speaker for your tunes.

2 adult guests maximum. 1–2 children welcome - please message us if you'd like to book our space and add 1-2 children 12 and under to your reservations. No pets. One parking space inside the fenced area.

Guest access is limited to the fenced RV area and outdoor space. The main house is our private residence and is not part of the rental.We live on the property but your space is fully private inside the fenced area.

We're available by Vrbo message if you need anything — otherwise we won't disturb you. Enjoy the Roost!

Important: This is a travel trailer (RV), not a house — it's cozy, well-equipped, and a little different from what you may be used to.

Here's what to know before booking:

RV plumbing is not like home plumbing. The toilet connects to a sealed holding tank — only toilet paper goes in. No wipes, no feminine products, nothing else. Short showers help too (gray water tank fills with use). Full details in the house manual.

The private Vrbo space is off of our private family property. Your space is fully fenced and private, but we do live in the main house nearby. Exterior security cameras are on the property (none inside the RV).

Parking is inside the enclosed area for Vrbo guests,; thus there is space for only one vehicle to park on the property.

AC and heat work great, but RVs heat and cool differently than a house.

You may hear roosters from neighboring properties in the early morning — it's old Florida!

Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM.

No smoking or vaping inside the RV.

No pets.

2 adults max. If you'd like to bring 1–2 children under 12, please send us a message before booking — we're happy to review these requests on a case-by-case basis. Please note: the RV does not have a crib or high chair for young children.
