"The location was ideal for shopping and access to coffee shops, etc. The room was clean and with a convenient sink outside the bathroom. Two bedrooms made it easy to manage our party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). We usually pack light in order to be able to wash clothes at least once, however, the "washing/drying" machine was not easy to use and didn't quite do what it was supposed to. We ended up hand washing our clothes and letting it air dry. Iron wasn't working, staff was very attentive and changed it out right away. Breakfast was great, lots of options. We can't eat a lot of meat dishes due to dietary restrictions, however, there was no lack of food! We missed our first night due to a travel issue from Beijing. While they were not able to compensate us for the missed night, the staff were kind enough to give free breakfast tickets for the remaining 2 days of our stay. Thanks for a great stay and experience!"

"I had high expectations for the Grand Hyatt Xi'an, but unfortunately our stay did not live up to its five-star reputation. The hotel itself is beautiful and impressive in size, but that's where the "grand" experience ended for us. We booked two rooms, and the air conditioning in one of them did not work. We reported the problem, but it was never fixed during our stay. Our late-night check-in was disappointing. The front desk agent did not explain the hotel amenities, breakfast, or lounge access, and did not tell us about the security deposit. Instead, my credit card was charged for the full amount of both rooms again, even though the stay had already been prepaid, creating unnecessary confusion. The Executive Lounge was also underwhelming, with a very limited food and beverage selection that did not meet the standards I expect from a Grand Hyatt. For a luxury hotel, service should be exceptional, but it simply wasn't. While the building is attractive and the rooms are spacious, the overall guest experience did not justify the price or the five-star rating. There are better values in Xi'an, and based on our experience, I would choose another hotel on my next visit."

"An amazing hotel in Xi’An. The staff were amazing, the rooms were stunning and extremely spacious, the breakfast had so much variety and something for most tastes! The views are gorgeous and it’s only a few minutes walk from the metro station. The spa was nice, please note you need a swim cap to swim in hotel pool. The gym was a great size with multiple workout areas . 10/10!"

"Excellent hotel with spacious apartments and far from the touristic hustle and bustle. Quiet and clean in an upscale area, mainly used by Chinese travelers. If you have the Didi app and a washer/dryer in your hotel room, then this is the place to go."
