Blencathra Coastal Spa Getaway

**2 storey holiday house with large ocean facing private deck with hot tub **

Boasting arguably the best view in Currie, situated behind the Currie Lighthouse you will find Blencathra Coastal Spa Getaway, a 2 storey house located within a short stroll of the Currie restaurants, bars, shops, walking tracks, golf course and the fishing fleet at the harbour.

A large deck extending from the second storey offers complete privacy, breath-taking panoramic views of the Southern Ocean, Currie Lighthouse and Golf Course, complete with a large hot-tub. The perfect location to unwind at the end of the day, watching the sun set behind the lighthouse with a glass of wine in hand.

Access to the deck to is from second storey. There are also stairs from the deck to ground level outside. The house comes well equipped with everything you will need on your King Island getaway.

On the ground floor you will find:
- 3 bedrooms; two large queen rooms with built-ins and a bunk room that will accommodate four (2 sets of bunks).
- Bathroom consisting of shower, basin and vanity.
- Separate toilet
- Laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Upstairs you will find:
- Plentiful large windows facing all directions allowing day-long warmth and brightness
- Fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining and living area
- Large fridge/freezer, 4-burner gas stove/oven and pantry stocked with tea/coffee/etc
- Large 55 inch flatscreen TV, Blu-ray DVD player, Nintendo Wii, stereo/CD player, surround sound system
- Gas heater with log fireplace look

Outside is a recently landscaped driveway with ample parking space, a sheltered outdoor barbeque area with 4 burner barbeque, clothes line and fresh-water tank.

We wanted an escape for our 10 year anniversary. This house was the perfect location and the best views of the ocean. Walking distance into town and near a great walking track. Beautiful property with incredible views. Short walk to the town. Quiet and peaceful. New beds are super comfortable and upgrades to furniture and soft furnishings are lovely. Absolute 10 property. Terrific communication by property owner too.

Fabulous Views surround this property which is clean and well maintained, with some basic supplies in the pantry and shops and local pub a 2min drive or 10-15 min walk away. the Driveway is very step but room to turn around at top in most vehicles. only 2 small points i found where the Spa which is beautiful and clean has no step if you happen to be short and not so athletic like myself, and the dryer in its space saving position is virtually unusable unless you are 6ft tall there is also no hand rail up front steps which is not a use issue but care must be taken if steps are damp.

The house is perched on a high point in Currie, and must have one of the best views in town. Close to the Town, museum and harbour it is very convenient for a stay on the Island. Highly recommended

Perfect location to stay for a golf trip to King island. There’s no better way to finish the day after playing golf than to have a relaxing spa that looks out past the lighthouse to the ocean.

Blencathra Spa is a fantastically beautiful place to stay on King Island. Brilliantly equipped, views to die for, very comfortable sleeping arrangements and close to shops and the town centre. Cannot get over how beautiful King Island is and how friendly welcoming the inhabitants are. We will definitely be returning. Although many of the roads are unsealed they are well maintained and easily comfortable even without a 4 x 4
