Their place is warm and comfortable, with spacious rooms that felt luxurious yet relaxed and inspiring, decorated with playful yet tasteful art. The Inn itself is surrounded by nature, sheep, chickens, and fruit trees, with access to hikes. "A truly wonderful hotel, a historic landmark. An old monastery completely renovated for a hotel. Great rooms, restaurant, and services. Getting there a bit hard, as roads are very windy. However, there are spectacular views and clean air. It is very quiet at night, no nightlife or shopping around, but you will not need any if you there to relax and enjoy! Highly recommend!"

"Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout."

"This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

"Place is modern and very clean. Did laundry, very helpful! It’s close to train/bus which we needed. The codes to use at the door and to your room were easy. (I’m older, so I’m use to keys and cards lol!)"
