"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rental home was very comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and looking at the view of Thunder Bay/Lake Huron."

"If you do not understand “rustic” this is NOT the place for you. If you MUST have complete privacy (no doors on either bedroom) this is probably not the place for you. If you grew up camping in the 70’s and you miss it but your body has had enough of the cold hard ground - THIS is what you need! The doors and door handles take me back to visiting Great Grandma. The absolute charm of a northern cabin! Yet he has modernized the bathroom to the point of never wanting to leave. The hosts attention to small details- York peppermint patties on the bed stands, bag of treats on the top shelf with a box of toys on the floor for our dog, towels folded so you feel like you’re in a 5star hotel, 1/2 dozen farm fresh eggs and bottles of water in the fridge, the homemade brownies made up for the fact that the promised campfire was rained out. Jonathan should be very proud of all the updates he has made thus far!Icing on the cake- his knowledge of the area - where to fish, where to hike, good places to eat etc! We will be looking for this place when we’re in the area again!"

"Had a great time on our annual sister's vacation. Beds were comfortable, hot showers, quiet neighborhood, and great location for exploring the area. Kitchen is well stocked too!"

Our family had a place up on the lake for over 50 years, but sold it a couple years back, so it was so nice to come back to the area. We loved our stay and created many wonderful memories here.
