We loved history in the old Inn, so many historic photos on all of the walls. Location close to the Great Alleghany passageway was also a drawing feature.

I stayed in the motel section, not the Inn. The motel was fine for the price but it's really, really basic which was all I needed for the few hours I slept there. Lady at the front desk was nice.

The lodging price was a great value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is top notch! It is my forth time staying there and look forward to staying there again!

The staff was friendly, but anytime I went to the front desk I had to search for someone to help me. The beds and pillows were super hard and there seemed to be lotion on the handle of the recliner. The guests next to our room were very loud early in the morning. Cute town.
