Independent in Culebra

"Stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Culebra. "

"The view is definitely amazing! I'll admit that I thought people were exaggerating about the driveway but they weren't it's the steepest I have ever driven up. The air conditioning didn't work in the loft so the person that was going to sleep there just slept on the couch. My Dad went around and cleaned all the filters on each air-conditioning unit which looked like they had never been cleaned before so they work much better now and are much quieter lol. The cabinets in the kitchen are rough and at times the power seems like it isn't strong enough because the lights would be very dim. Overall if you don't need the loft it was nice and once the filters were cleaned the air worked great and the beds were reasonably comfortable and we had no problems with the hot water. The big fridge does not work but you can use the freezer section for bottled water but the small fridge did work and it is big enough to suffice. The washer and dryer work but they are outside underneath the deck. The owner was nice and had her maintenance guy pick us up from the ferry even though we got in late like 9 pm. They do have coolers there you can use at the beach which is definitely a plus."

"Easy to walk to from the ferry pier. Walking distance to restaurants. Super clean room. Has a locker room for luggage in case your room is not ready, this really saved us from carrying our luggage around the island because our ferry got to culebra super early."
