This new A-Frame cabin is ready for you to enjoy your upcoming Kentucky adventure!! Whether planning a scenic drive for some spelunking at Mammoth Cave National Park, enjoying the numerous trails in the area, or planning a lake getaway, Woodland will be a cozy basecamp!!
With a vaulted main entry and open concept family room and kitchen, you will feel welcome as soon as you open the front door! The kitchen boasts plenty of cabinet space and all new full size stainless steel appliances. Stocked with the essentials for meal prep, and a pretty unique kitchen table with seating for six await your arrival. You may also appreciate the full size stacked washer and dryer available for use during your stay.
The living room has a comfy couch and a couple of chairs to relax after a long day of exploring!
Equipped with high speed Internet and a desk and if you must get a little work done… or just relax for movie night!
When you are ready for a good nights sleep, unpack your suitcases and head to the California KING sized main floor master bedroom which is complete with dual closets and a large dresser.
Or, use the shipman style ladder stairs to head up to the cozy loft area where you will enjoy a comfy QUEEN sized bed with your own half bath.
The individual heating and air units ensure you can control each space to your comfort level.
The front porch lends space for hanging out and taking in the skies over Nolin Lake. A vintage table with umbrella makes dining outdoors a breeze. Enjoy evenings cozied up around a campfire in the fire pit area!

I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin with great view. Tucked away and cozy. Very clean and the cabin literally had everything that we needed to cook and grill with. Also provided paper towels and TP. Lived the fresh smell of cedar when walking in. Angela was a great host and responded promptly to all of my messages. Can’t wait to book again.

Nice little cabin

This was a great little cabin for us to spend the weekend. You have good views of the water when the lake is full. The layout takes great advantage of its space as well. Would stay again!

Fun through the Floods

The house and accommodations are wonderful! I’m sure when there aren’t floods and high waters, the lake is beautiful too. My daughter loved the loft room that is spacious and great for a pre-teen! We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy some cave tours and hiking at Mammoth Cave. The unfortunate flooding caused closures in the parks our last day. . We would definitely return!!

This A-frame cabin was so cute, clean, and cozy!! It was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park! This trip was only my husband and me, but we were saying this would easily fit more people too if we came back in a few years with a family! The upstairs loft room and bathroom were so cute! The kitchen had plenty of counter space and was equipped with all of the utensils and appliances needed for us to make coffee and breakfast in the morning! If we had wanted to bake something, there were even jars of flour and sugar on the shelf, which were a cute touch! We were also able to watch football on Saturday night with the host’s YouTube TV account. It was also nice having a little view of the lake across the street from the front porch with patio furniture, an umbrella, and a grill if we had decided to cook out. The welcome book was also super helpful in helping us know where to get groceries and places to go for dinner, especially since it’s more of a rural area! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to visit Mammoth Cave National Park for a weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Cute and Comfortable

This property is cute, comfortable, and exactly as described. The kitchen is well-equipped with new appliances. The bed was very comfortable, and although we didn't use the loft, it looked great as well. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit with the wood that the owner supplied. It was a great place to relax after a day exploring Mammoth Cave National Park. Highly recommended!

A frame getaway

We loved this house from the moment we walked in the door! Our granddaughter especially loved her little loft upstairs, with her own bathroom, and liked to lie on the floor of the balcony and draw, and chat with us. The bathroom and shower were so nice, with lovely thick soft white towels. We used it as a place to stay while visiting Mammoth Cave. It was a comfortable, well furnished home away from home. Thank you for letting us use it.

Woodland on Lake Nolin

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was very neat and clean. It was close to everything, and we had a beautiful view of the lake. It was on a quiet street which was fantastic for my 8 and 10 year old. They enjoyed being about to ride their bikes and one wheels around. We would definitely stay here again, if/when we come back to this area. Also, if you are going to the Mammoth Caves take Green River ferry. It will take about 25 minutes off of your trip. Just be sure to call and make sure they are running.

This house was fantastic! Very new, clean and superbly decorated. The beds were super comfy, and it had all the amenities we needed for our 2 day stay. The house and renting experience gets five starts! The only drawback was it is a long drive to any store or the Mammoth area (I didn’t research this prior so it was a bit of a surprise) - about 45 mins to Mammoth park. Also the area is dry so no alcohol sales (plan ahead and bring your own). I mention these points to ensure future renters are planning w these things in mind if staying anywhere in this area. Again, the house was AHmazing!!!

House was very clean, it is new. Neighborhood has a boat launch but other than that lacks anything to do without driving. Communication was good had poor cell service in the area which complicated it ,not the fault of the owner. Was just underwhelmed by the area in general . very nice property if you like A frames

Little A frame gem.

I am pleased to be the first review for this very nice little property. Brand new and fully equipped. Super clean. We used it for 4 guests. Not our usual type of choice as we like to not share a bath with our teens but also wanted to branch out and try more of a cabin rental. This place is so nice I wasn’t roughing it in anyway. Boat ramp right across the street that I think you could use for a fee. Easy drive to Mammoth. Also hiked the state park at the lake. Some of the surrounding properties are definitely not of the same caliber as this but not sketchy. Good people. A few houses down were rocking out to some ZZ Top but once I went inside the property I couldn’t hear it. So rent this place. You will like it.
