"This large house worked well for a family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and having the large dining table and space worked well. Loved the view from the huge windows. All the games were a hit with my grandson - especially the shuffleboard. The communication from the hosts was very helpful and clear. Made for a very smooth and fun vacation!"

"We visited in early October, before the water level drops. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Communication was clear, and the owners went above and beyond to account for all the little details to make us feel at home. The grounds are calm, quiet, and gorgeous. The house was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend!"

"This was a very well stocked home, with plenty of room for a large family, and tons of fun tucked away! Our family loved the popcorn maker and provided snacks during a game night and enjoyed the back yard fire pit another night. The kitchen had every tool and gadget you'd need to make a delicious meal, and a nearby local restaurant down the road (Bouy's) didn't disappoint when we didnt feel like cooking. The only down side was the distance to Mammoth Cave when the Green River Ferry was closed. (It took nearly an hour to get to the tours, rather than 30 minutes when taking the ferry.) Our daughter loved sitting in the porch swing and admiring the sweet little neighborhood.We look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the near by lakes and kayaks!"

"From the moment we stepped in to the house until we left, we loved it. It’s such a nice treat to not be shocked or disappointed when you rent a home, such as this. It was everything we had hoped for and more from being so clean, lovely location, and a huge bowl of treats for the adult people. Plus even down to a canister of puppy treats. One amazing thing that we found ourselves doing every morning and night was watching for the Doe Manna and her pair of fawns which she paraded through the front yard for our entertainment. I would give her Home a 10 star if I had it available to me. This is the first time for us, but it definitely will not be the last visit we make to this rental again thank you for sharing this fabulous retreat with us."
