"Staying here was great! It was very cozy and quiet out in the woods. The hot tub was easy to use and enjoyable as well. Cabin is a little on the small side but just enough for two people. Only complaint was that there wasnt any shampoo provided and we hadnt thought to bring our own but its not too far from the store."

"Very beautiful cabin, cozy little place. It is a pretty bare-bones outfitted kind of rental—which is fine, just know that going in. You’ll need to bring your own charcoal, salt, foil, etc. Again, not a biggie if you know ahead of time. Lovely little romantic spot. Definitely would recommend! "

"The Black Squirrel was perfect. And the hosts were very responsive.Everything was super clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with hot tub and fire pit. Hot Springs was very close by.I highly recommend booking this cabin. An extra touch was the chocolates left by the hosts. My husband liked that the best. You will love staying here."

"The cabin host, Ma’am Betsy, always answers our queries before and during our trip. She also has a clear binder with instructions about the BnB and fun things to do in Mt Ida. Their property is just 25 minutes from Hot Springs, home to the famous Bathhouse Row. Make sure you book ahead, cause the spa and bath houses are always full, especially during this season. The cabin is spacious and a family/colleague/couple-friendly place, indeed commendable. "

"We had an amazing stay at this 3-bed comfy wooden lake house. The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lake forest view was beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the indoor play set and outside swings , which kept them entertained for hours.The amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere made the stay feel truly special. Sami made great communication to make extended help before trip begins.We’d definitely love to come back!"
