​Three Sisters Springs (approx. 5-7 mins away): The crown jewel of Crystal River! A world-famous sanctuary for manatees. During manatee season (Nov–March), the boardwalk offers the best viewing.
​Hunter Springs Park (approx. 5 mins away): Features a small sandy beach, a playground, and a kayak launch. It is a fantastic place to launch your paddleboard for a trip over to the manatee sanctuaries.
​Fort Island Gulf Beach (approx. 15 mins away): Drive down the scenic Trail 44 to find this peaceful gem. It features a sandy swimming area, public restrooms, and outdoor showers. This is the absolute best spot in the area to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
