The cabin was very clean, it looked just as it was advertised. The bathroom sink became clogged, Thomas had maintenance there within 24 hours. Views of the lake were fantastic. Great fishing off the dock. The external queen size bedroom with shower was very nice, and had a 4 cup coffee maker. Cabin had plenty of extra pillows, blankets, linens and towels. Kitchen was very well stocked with pans and cooking utensils, lots of paper towels, there were dishwasher pods and laundry pods. FYI - cabin was pet friendly, but VRBO description did not inform of a 30 daily charge for a pet.Overall, a great stay!

Our stay was September 8-13. The two building setup works great for more than one adult couple to sleep and shower each day. The cabins have that rustic appeal to them and are well equipped to handle one couple or three with room for the kiddies in the cute bunkbeds. Both cabins have AC with the main cabin having a Heat pump so as to keep it cool on hot days or warm it up as we did with the last two nights getting down to upper 40's to low 50's. The deck has a great view of the lake with just enough trees to give privacy if wanted. The stairs to the beach are a hike but with hand rails and steps spaced close together going down and then the climb back up easy (I'm 69 and made the climb 10 times over the week). The beach area is grassy but once in the water, it's all sand with a few small lake stones here and there. (One of the best beaches we have enjoyed on the Whitefish Chain of lakes) The water depth doesn't get past 4' until your past the dock. Great for small Kiddos. We docked our 22' pontoon with no problem. Nice area for a fire at the beach and also just outside the bedroom cabin. All in All we had a great stay with as always the Whitefish Chain of Lakes being spectacular. We love Big Trout Lake as you can stay on this lake for your entire stay or navigate the channels to access something different each day.
