"I am from the Soo and know the area and the lodging choices. We were traveling with 2 Golden Retrievers, and if they are not welcome, we are not welcome! The Last Resort is a GREAT place! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and the cutest little bait shop. I actually purchased a few great souvenirs; they sell the cutest fishing t-shirts. I bought a t-shirt for everyone I know, the Ts were $9.95! There is plenty of grass for walking your dog. We will be staying there again~~"

"The staff was great and overall in general, the place was nice. Our room smelled very heavily of smoke which we’re not smokers, the air conditioner filter was caked with I don’t know dust, and the carpet felt damp and had a lot of stains. All that being said, I feel those are easy fixes and the customer service was great. It was also great to be able to get a coffee to go in the morning."

"Charming indeed! The location, walk to the river, fire pit (along with the supplies) were perfect. We really appreciated the snacks and drinks that the host left for us to enjoy. There was even a jar of local honey that was a lovely surprise."

"Michael was very nice and always answered quickly. We had 10 people and had plenty of room for all of us. 2 people slept on an air mattress in the game room and there is plenty of room for an air mattress in the bunk room also. The house was clean and had plenty of games there to play."
