"River House" Log Cabin Nestled near the Red River
Come stay on this secluded 33 acre farm, just 35 miles North of Nashville, 35 miles South of Bowling Green, and close to several historic sites and antique stores. This log cabin lies at the end of a dead end road, nestled near the small, southern fork of the Red River, with about 1/4 mile stretch of the river bordering the property. Easy access to walk to the creek. RV carport with electrical hookup available right outside of the cabin. Guest access All of the cabin is available to guests, except for the basement, one hall closet, and outside buildings. No one else lives here or within 1/3 of a mile, so you have the house and property all to yourself. Other things to note Short walking trails available overlooking the small fork of the river. The creek is easily accessible to walk to at the creeks bend in front of the cabin for sunbathing, wading, or fishing; however, the fish are very small and limited since this river fork is more like the size of an average sized creek. Roughly 30 acres are available for walking and viewing wildlife. People have been known to spot bald eagles, deer, turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, as well as all sorts of birds including owls and a Blue Heron which lives along the creek and can be heard in the early evenings. Look up "Experience Robertson County" to view list of local restaurants, events, and things to do while your here!

This was such a perfect place for my sisters and I to get away together. The property is more beautiful and much larger than I imagined from the pictures. Mellissa was a very friendly and help host who responded to communication quickly.
Great location, quite, private and cozy. Beds were cozy and clean. The large carport was an added bonus as we had rainy weather, ironically, only at arrival and departure, and it was great to have the cover! Melissa was easy to communicate with. It was out there, yet close enough to everything. I'd come back if ever in the area again.
The property is just as explained and more! Everything you need. Comfortable and fun. We enjoyed walking the trails and spending hours at the creek exploring( ages 5-77 ). The porch is perfect for your morning coffee and wildlife watching. We plan to visit again!!
This home is truly a gem. It is clean, comfortable and secluded. If you're looking for a place to truly escape and get away from it all, this is it! We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning while watching the horses, graze and drinks in the evening while watching the glow bugs! Melissa is very kind, informative and timely in her communication. Her hospitality was very appreciated!
Melissa is a great host. She responds very quickly. The cabin is clean and cozy. We love the creek and watching the horses. The front porch is great for sitting outside and enjoying the peace and quiet.
We had the most peaceful relaxing time here. Everything here is amazing the views the closeness to Nashville the quiet and the walks to the creek. The temps were high this week so we took advantage of wading and sunbathing in the creek.Loved every minute except thepacking up and leaving part.
