Welcome to your dream retreat on the shores of Serpent Lake in Crosby, MN! This well-equipped and inviting lake house offers everything you need for an unforgettable getaway. With 100 feet of pristine shoreline, it’s a haven for relaxation and outdoor fun. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an adventure-packed vacation, this property has something for everyone at any time of year!

Inside, the home’s layout is perfect for group gatherings. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. The main floor features two bedrooms for added convenience, while three more await upstairs. A fully stocked kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and the main floor laundry ensures your stay is as comfortable as possible. The spacious 3-season porch overlooking the lake is a highlight, offering the perfect spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset.

SUMMER LAKE LIFE
During the summer, spend your days in the sunshine enjoying the water with fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding right off the dock. The home features both a main dock and a guest dock, perfect for tying up a boat or casting a line. After a day on the water, gather around the large fire pit for s’mores and storytelling under the stars. A gas grill on the lakeside patio invites you to savor outdoor meals with breathtaking views.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to the Cuyuna trail system, just blocks from the house. Bike or walk the famous red dirt trails or the paved paths for a scenic adventure. An on-site bike rack provides easy storage. The home is also within walking distance of downtown Crosby’s best attractions, including the Cuyuna Brewery, Iron Range Eatery, and several charming cafes and shops.

* Smoke-Free Space – Please keep the indoors fresh for everyone—no smoking inside. (A $300 cleaning fee applies if detected.)
* No Parties or Events – You’re welcome to invite day visitors and enjoy small get-togethers during your stay. We just ask that you keep things respectful — no large parties, events, or activities that might cause extra mess, damage, or disturb the neighbors.
* Guest List – For everyone’s safety and comfort, only registered guests are allowed unless we’ve chatted and approved otherwise.
* Quiet Hours – Let’s keep it cozy from 10 PM to 8 AM so everyone (including the neighbors!) can relax.
* Pets – Pets are not allowed on this property. Thank you for your understanding!
* Water Shoes Recommended! For your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to enjoy the lake. Serpent Lake has zebra mussels, and they can be a little rough on bare feet.

Family Memories

The family had a great time at the lake house! Love the guest dock for use of the rented pontoon! The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and boat - so many unforgettable memories made!

Another Great Week @ the Lake

This was our third summer staying at the lake home on Serpent in Crosby. We love what the cabin and the property offer; great yard, water, fishing, boating, walking distance to town and biking distance to bike trails (paved and dirt). This will always be our favorite place, so many memories created over the years! Thank you for sharing your home T & M!

A Fabulous Lake Home with So Much to Offer

There were 14 of us who stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The lake is fantastic and very clear. We took full advantage of the hot days and warm water by enjoying a lot of water sports. The Cuyuna Biking Trails are mere blocks from the front door! Grocery store & liquor store are 2 blocks away as is the city park with a huge playground. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Cabin!

Our family takes an annual trip to the Brainerd area and it usually consists of hopping from hotel to hotel. We would try to meet up and have a meal together but we would always have some kind of miscommunication! It was so nice to be able to stay in one spot with the whole family AND have meals together. There was plenty of space for everyone. Our family enjoyed staying at this house and would definitely book it again!

Family Get Together

Everything about our time at the Lake House was exceptional! The owners were incredibly responsive, the house was very clean & very cozy. The three season porch was large & has a wonderful view of the water. The yard & lakefront were just beautiful & made for family fun with games & nights at the fireside. We were greeted with fresh flowers & home made brownies. We hope to return next year if a spot opens!

Great Weekend getaway

We had a great time at the Cozy Lake House! We had 13 people in our party which is difficult to accommodate most places. We all had a bed to sleep in and never felt crowed which is a plus when you vacation with family :) The lake itself was nice and peaceful with the exception of the boat races this past weekend. We would not have traded that for anything though- it was so much fun to watch! Thank you so much!

Great location!

We had a great time at the property! The property has a spacious yard, short stroll to the dock and a nice set up inside the home. We especially loved the large screened in porch. It is also located walking distance to a fun park and grocery store. The only reasons it gets docked is lack of central air and a washer with mildew in the lining. On hot humid days, the upstairs was difficult to keep air moving. Even with that, we would definitely go back!

Exceeded our expectations

This cabin was fantastic! It is updated and very neat and tidy. It's very nicely decorated and furnished. It comes well stocked, even for a group of 12! We never ran out of anything. There was plenty of space for our large group. We loved the location and that everything was accessible by foot and/or bike - we didn't get in our cars for the 3 days we were there! Tiffany and Matt made sure every last detail was accounted for and were super accommodating and accessible whenever we had a question! I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Bike Trails!

We came to the area to use the bike trails and were not disappointed in the bike trails, nor the beautiful home where we stayed. The house was very clean, had plenty of space for our family to sleep, eat, and move around during our stay. My only suggestions to anyone staying here would be to make sure and bring napkins and paper towels, and a space heater for the porch if you are coming during a cool time of the year. They provided a beginning supply of paper towels, which was very much appreciated, but they ran out quickly and we needed to run to the store for more. We look forward to rebooking at this home again!

Delightful!

We brought more than we needed. Everything was provided! Beds were comfortable; showers were good; plenty of space for our family of 11. Only suggestions: Room air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms. .Use of the boatlift would’ve been helpful. Due to the Infestation of zebra mussels, we had to trailer our Boat every night.

Lake home

The house is very clean and fresh!! We appreciate the owners providing young living cleaning products ! The attention to details clearly states the owners care about their guest stay! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and then some! The beds are very comfortable with high quality bedding a definite plus!!! The grounds are perfect for yard games! The paddle boat was a great addition with life jackets for the little ones. My 5 yr. Old grand daughter was excited to fish for the first time and caught many sunnies and bass right of the dock! Serpent park- a 2 min. Drive is the best little treasure! The kids love the unique playground! Main street is a short walk away! Victuals IS A MUST !!! with the finest cheeses and the best homemade ice-cream!!! We look foward to a return vacation!

Perfect Family get-away

We stayed in September after the summer months. The lake was quiet & beautiful, we were able to walk to town for the Farmer's Market, dinner at night, and to grab a coffee. We spent 3 days biking & were able to come home and relax comfortably spreading out with lots of room.

Perfect!

Our family had a wonderful vacation! The cabin was just perfect for our growing family! We enjoyed Serpent Lake! (We brought a boat and jet skis!) The boat launch is real close by! We biked, played at the park, and enjoyed going to town for ice cream! We also tried a few restaurants and had amazing food!

Making memories

Our family loves everything about staying at the Cozy Lake Home. Spending time in and on the lake, going for walks into town, bike riding, and just enjoying the beautiful home. We had 6 adults, and six kids, and it worked perfect. We definitely made lasting memories with our kids and grandkids!
