"Our stay at this property was very disappointing. The room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed, but the flies in the room were hard the get rid of the first day. Then, when we came back to the room after dinner the second night, there was a lizard crawling up the wall. The food in the restaurant was delicious, but the service was abominable! The staff needs serious training on how to be polite and to make guests feel welcomed. We had a 7:30 p.m. reservation and noone even spoke to us for 30 minutes after we were seated. They did not give us a menu until 8:10. We found all of this unacceptable for a Michelin starred restaurant! The breakfast buffet was mediocre and meal on the lovely patio was marred by the sounds of screaming children on the playgrounds of the schools that abutted the property on each side. This hotel and spa failed miserably as a relaxing retreat."
