A great week in Crickvenica
We had a wonderful holiday in Crickvenica.😊
The location of the apartment is really good, it's about a 5-minute walk from the beach, 10-minute walk from the main shopping center area and about 15-minute walk from the center/main port. We didn't have to use our car within the town at all which was great because most streets are VERY narrow and steep and parking is difficult and expensive.
The apartment's kitchen was very well equipped with good quality (mainly IKEA) pots, pans, knives, utensils, etc., we were also given lots of towels, toilet paper, and even some tea and coffee. 😊
We also loved the balcony with the sea view❤️🌊
Communication with the owner (Igor) was great both prior to after our stay. Communication with Igor's mom, Lidija was a bit more difficult due to my lack of German and Croatian and her lack of English and Hungarian 😅🙈, but she was very nice and helpful, too.
I only have two more suggestions to make the place perhaps even better:
1. It would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows. We left the windows open at night to let in some fresh air (there is no AC in the bedroom, only in the kitchen+living room) but there were a lot of mosquitoes.
2. The garden could be a bit more well-kept, maybe with some more outdoor facilities for kids - but that's just a suggestion, we had a great time anyway in the apartment and at the beach 🏖️.
