Cretaquarium Tours and Activities

Clearly the best hotel that I have stayed in my Greece trip.

We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. A couple of the noted facilities (mini golf etc.) are no longer available on site, but that didn't detract from our stay. The location is also good; 20mins drive from Heraklion airport and within 60-90mins of many of the popular attractions. Our only observation is that some guests may feel that the five-star rating is misleading, but I think that's possibly a subjective point. This is a quality hotel, but it isn't the high-end luxury that some might expect of five stars. However, it is still excellent and, frankly, suited us better as a family just the way it was.

The property was really lovely and finished to a high standard. Everywhere was clean. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The pool is tiny but at times we had it to ourselves. I cannot recommend this little place more. We are hoping to go back next year.
