"The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and updated nicely. The towels were plentiful and plush. The water for the showers was nice and hot. I would prefer coffee in the room instead of having to go downstairs to get coffee. The bathroom in the lobby requires a code. We should be able to use our room card for that. It would be nice if the hotel had a hot tub. Parking is $60-80 a night, and should be included in the price of the room."

"We only stayed for a very short time, arrived late and had to leave early, but really liked the room, the layout, shower was amazing! The bed was comfy! Staff were pleasant and the breakfast had a lot to offer! Near OHSU waterfront and tram to the hill; super easy for medical visits. Valet is a little spendy but very quick and really convenient!"

"This was exactly what we needed - a comfortable, affordable getaway. Everything was well-maintained, the decor was simple and pleasant without clutter, and everything we wanted was provided. We had a couple of questions, and Nancy, our host, was very responsive.We ended up spending several evenings just relaxing and playing board games. The walk to the front door past the gardens is lovely, and really set the tone for us each day as we headed out to explore Portland.The neighborhood is perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Since I have celiac, I appreciated *four* dedicated gluten-free restaurants in walking distance! I have fragrance sensitivities, but didn't inform the host as they have been improving. No worries - the apartment was naturally clean and fresh, with no perfumes except in the soaps that the host provided. Since I travel with my own fragrance-free products, we just used those and I had no issues - and wouldn't have had issues even if I'd been more sensitive right then. We did hear some footsteps overhead at a few points, but that's to be expected in a basement apartment. The host was quiet, and we had no trouble resting and relaxing and enjoying our 21st anniversary vacation. I will definitely check for availability here first the next time we stay in Portland!"

"Absolutely fabulous! We would definitely stay here again. This is a beautiful guesthouse tucked away behind the main house. Very private and quiet. The grounds are lush; almost felt like we were in an enchanted forest. The home was clean and comfortable, and very roomy, yet cozy. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, better than any other we have stayed in. Great communication with the host, very friendly. The neighborhood was stunningly beautiful as everything was in bloom. It was a pleasure to walk to the shops and restaurants nearby. There were so many to choose from! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!"
