"My wife and I have stayed here multiple times over the last three years. This is an older hotel, but we enjoy the rustic appeal and charm. As soon as we walk in the front door and are greeted by Angela at the front desk we feel very welcome and glad we made the choice to stay here. They do have a free breakfast that does start the day, although it is on the basic side, cold cereal, bagel, oatmeal, and fruit. Beds and pillows are both a little on the firm side to me. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here the next time we are in town. "

"Pet-friendly and very clean! We brought our dog and the stay was smooth. There is a pet fee, but the room was spotless and had no smell at all. It’s rare to find a place this close to the beach that’s also dog-friendly."

"This was the worst experience I have ever had in a VRBO. We arrived to find a clogged toilet filled with poop, smelling horrible. Cleaning personnel came & refused to fix, then we waited for a handyman. Why was this not fixed during the cleaning? We received 2 bath towels for 5 paid guests. My grandson hopped in the shower to find hair and water streaming from the drain into the tub. It was disgusting. Another visit required from the handyman. Why was this not fixed during cleaning? The bathroom door was glass with only a sheer curtain. Guests in the living room could see into bathroom - unacceptable. There were 4 chairs at the table although we paid for 5 guests. 2 of the 4 chairs were broken. The arm fell off one chair (it was never attached) and the back on 2nd chair not secure fell backward when sat in. These 2 chairs were broken before we arrived & never fixed. Luckily we brought all the cooking and baking dishes required. There was very little in the kitchen although there were 5 plates, knives, folks and spoons. We were told we would receive free wine. We couldn't find it & again texted management - still difficult to find. Same with laundry detergent. They say it is in the cupboard, but there is no cupboard. Never found. Communication from management was automated, ineffective, unhelpful, and condescending. We were staying in Seasong & management kept forgetting - sent instructions for Scopia. I could write more but limited in the app to 1500 characters."
