Leave all towels and washcloths on the floor in the laundry room. Do not leave items. The cost for picking it up and dropping it off at our local Mail Room is $30 in addition to the mailing cost.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a family of 12 stay in this wonderful home. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, and the kids loved the game room! Very close to The Grove of Titans trail and walking distance to Myrtle Creek. We loved our stay and would stay here again. I loved getting up early and watching the birds from the living room. Beautiful!

The house was well stocked from utensils to coffee items to laundry detergent. Beautiful house with a fantastic location. Everything was perfect with the exception of one bedroom had an uncomfortable mattress. All in all it was the best place we stayed on our 17 day journey. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend staying here.

Huge variety of different sleeping spaces. Comfortable and homey. Peaceful surroundings. Easy parking. Easy access considering remote location. You definitely feel like you’re smack in the middle of the redwoods. You’re not crammed in among a bunch of other rentals.

Perfect Cabin on Smith River

Clean, cozy and lovely home on the Smith River - the back porch is perfect for drinking a cup of tea while chatting. The location, view and peacefulness were unbeatable. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Hideaway

We enjoyed the secluded area and were also happy that it was close to our activity areas. We would have liked to stay at this house for more nights. This was definitely the nicest place that we stayed at during our trip.

Worth the stay

This was an awesome place to stay. The property was just what we were looking for. We also found out this property was just right down the road from the grove of the titians redwoods. Great hiking and stunning scenery. I would recommend this for those outdoors people.

A great getaway

Great cabin. Comfortable, lots of room, peaceful and quiet. The views out over the river canyon were lovely, we sat out on the deck in the mornings and watched the eagles soar past. Amazing redwood walks only a few minutes away. Absolutely want to come here again.

Beautiful Cabin off the river

We loved this home. It was the perfect place to stay-both bc of the location and the home itself. It was just down the street from Stout Grove and other incredible locations in Jedediah Smith Redwoods and only a 15 min drive from Crescent city. The home itself is beautiful, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We loved our stay and would suggest it to anyone who is looking!

Beautiful Property

Our stay was great! There was a mix up with the cleaning of the property, but the property manager was on it and had someone come change the sheets and get us more towels the evening we arrived. The property description was accurate and it was gorgeous. The huge windows had a breathtaking view and the property was crazy close to the Redwoods. It only took us 10 minutes to get to some of the most amazing hikes I've ever experienced. It was wonderful, easy, and I would book there again if we ever return.

Magical Stay

We had a fantastic time! The location of this property could not be better. So peaceful and beautiful. Right up the road are the redwoods. We also spent a lot of time swimming, cliff jumping, and rope swinging in the river. We spent all day out playing, and then the house was so great to come back to. It was bright and spacious, every single bed was comfortable, even the towels were soft.We made a lot of wonderful memories here. Thank you

What a beautiful property that allows a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the world. We stayed here because the property is literally along a road that leads right into Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park. Location is excellent, the home is cozy and has all the things we needed and more. All of the beds were comfortable, kitchen was ample with all amenities and dishware you would need to "cook-in" vs eating out (bring your own food, of course), and the bathrooms were all clean with ample space, inside and out of the showers. There were only 5 of us that stayed at the home, but there could have easily been 10 of us and still felt spacious. Favorite thing? The towering trees right outside the front picture windows. Would we come back? YES. And we'd bring the three others who didn't get to come this time. NOTE: There is no cell coverage at the cabin, so make sure you get the front door code and save it t prior to arriving at the cabin, because you can't rely on cell service to look it up. There is wifi, so no worries there.

New year’s in the woods

Property was beautiful, as expected. Plenty of room for the nine of us. Only drawback was not having hot water “on demand”. With so many people it was difficult to maintain hot water for showers. Just a suggestion as our stay was wonderful and memorable. I rate this property first rate and would recommend for anyone who enjoys the privacy and the majesty of the forest and river!

Just what we needed!

So glad we found this spot. It was perfect for our elopement in Stout Grove, as it was just a 5 minute drive down the road. The house had everything we needed to cook dinner, play some games together and just relax. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Although we had no issues and didn’t need to contact the host. I believe there would be no issues if we had to. Check in/out was effortless and I would definitely rent again if we’re ever in the area again.
