"The resort and rooms were clean, modern, and well kept. The outdoor pool was gorgeous and the staff was wonderful. Transportation to and from the resort was included with the rate. The buffet was very tasty and excellent. The beach was a one minute walk from the room. The resort was clean and safe even for a nighttime stroll on the beach. We got a chance to be around the locals and feel relatively safe. There was also some significant issues. It took the front desk 2 hours to get our room which was booked 2 months in advance. I arrived on the resort’s transportation with several other guests with young babies who also had to wait 2 hours for a room. After a long day of traveling, I was extremely tired and disappointed. I found the AC unit to be very loud, as if we had a truck in the room. But, it worked. We also had a issue with mosquitos and had to report twice to the front desk before any resolution. There was a black female clerk working the front desk who seemed to have all the service professionalism needed to finally get me a room and also have the foyer sprayed for mosquitoes. If not for her help, I would rate the experience poor. I spoke to the manager the following day about the 2 hour wait and any restitution. His response was the wait time was normal."

"Pros Beautiful grounds Great staff Beautiful pool Beautiful beach Cons With All inclusive package they don’t stock fridge w drinks just a gallon jug of water They don’t take your luggage to your room they take it off truck put it on a cart just so u can tip driver and bell but then they roll it into open lobby and leave it for u to get up stairs and never told us we had to track down our bags Vendors on beach are non stop"

"Comparing the wide type of hotels, this would not be considered a luxury hotel. But if you are a scuba diver, then this is as close to luxury as you will find. They have tons of boats, so can accomodate a huge group of divers. Staff across the board were helpful and friendly. Service was generally quite fast, again considering the number of customers they had. I also enjoyed the food and drinks."
